So that's where the sun I had yesterday has gone....glad its gone to a good place and hope your washing gets dry, I'm all up to date now, so if you wouldn't mind popping it back down to Brighton when you've done, I should have another couple of loads ready, lol :)

Rain here, feeling very meh and uninspired this morning. Have so much to do with this house and garden and need to snap out of my doctor-inspired self-pity after being told yesterday that there's no magic bullet to cure my dodgy leg, just go away, take painkillers, don't do too much, and when its all too horrible for words, come back and we'll put you on the waiting list for the nasty op. *sigh* I feel like an old lady and I'm early 40s....

Sun - absolutely chucking it down here! Mind you I'm in the part of the country with the amber alert. Thank goodness I live on top of a hill.

Lara: So sorry to hear about your Gran. Hope the funeral goes well. Big hugs to you

    Apologies for the following moan:eek:
We have has 2 weeks of constant rain now, apart from a glorious day yesterday. I am really struggling -don't know whether its because of under active thyroid or the weather. My fingers are swollen and stiff, have nerve pain in my leg and am so tired.
House is a mess and needs a good spring clean and airing - can't do that due to weather, veg need planting and all I want to do is sleep:eek:
My head and heart tell me I need to take some time off and have a break and am trying to book 1st week of June off as holiday(boss lady won't confirm)at least if I have it as holiday I do eventually get paid for it- about a month later if am lucky but if I go sick I don't get paid.
I know I have a long weekend ahead of me, so that will help just need a push to keep me going to the weekebnd.
    Sorry ladies.

Morning Matrix, from a very croaky Crickett.

Feel like hell, so this will be a quick post.

Runs in on her way out again to get DS2 from playgroup.

    Woop!!!!!!

Mrf and FW texted to say that the blog is below 300K today - I know it means very little, but it one of the primary metrics that will move me away form the PPI and pay-day loan kind of adverts which I refuse to host.

So in three weeks we have gone from 454K to 297K and I am a VERY happy bunny.

    Wooop!!!

Happy International Workers Day everyone. I know there is no tradition to celebrate this in the UK but still needs recognition, I feel.

Hello from a soggy person - it rained on my way to town and on the way back and it is still raining now after my trip to the bank and the butcher (I espied some cooked chicken drumsticks and had them for my lunch).

I quite enjoyed my job search today at R*mploy - they were very helpful indeed and even helped me with a letter when I started to overthink things (why do I always do that?). I have seen 3 jobs - one in particular I would love as it involves cars and motorsport:cool: I will apply for thse jobs at home because they require CVs and covering letters via email. I started looking at higher grade jobs too of the management type..this is most unlike me because I do not feel confident enough to do them even though I have the experience - do I want the stress?

MG - use affiliate window and sign up to some links - you don't have to have payday loans and the rest of the malarky, you can pick things that you want. Must get back in contact with Sainsbugs as they want to have a link on my blog.

Meh - not liking the weather at all, my bones ache - I know I sound like an old woman but every bone that I have ever broken now aches with the damp and the cold. Talking of old women - I have discovered I have a very long whisker, I cannot yank it out so need to book an appointment to see if it can be electrolysed out:eek: My eyebrows are also going grey...this is not fair I still feel as though I am 21..harrumph.

    Meh!!!

Bit the bullet and did all the car thingies - MOT'd, repaired and Taxed. Just as well I have a working budget - remember how the car nearly tipped me over the edge on my journey to DFW??

And now - need to get all "Delia" and make something yummy for dinner - thinking of butternut and feta quiches with a white bean, green bean and red pepper salad with a lemony vinagrette ................ whatdayathink???

Trying desperately to believe that today is the start of spring LOL

    MG

Sounds like there is a new scam out - just had a phone call from very noisy call centre - something like MIB - motoring insurance bureau, saying that I had been involved in an accident.

Oh Dear I said - that was awful, truly awful, could I have the crime reference number please?

    Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

    Thought not LOL
