    Good afternoon.

Had a lazy day today, not done much , cooked a turkey crown and did a roast dinner (enough left for a curry tomorrow) so tomorrows tea sorted.

washing sorted looks like a chinese laundry here

Absolutely shattered today, went out last night got in at 1 this morning, had a fab night though :), then the wind and the rain kept waking me up. So an early night in store for me today.
    Boiler pot £30.92/£1000
  • Got a butternut squash in the fridge (mum bought but didn't fancy soup) so I am thinking Thai curry tonight with some lovely veggies - squash, pepper, red onion, green beans and cauliflower with thai rice on the side.

Recipe please - sounds lovely, and I have all of those in the fridge!

    Moam
Although no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.... life is a WIP.

Snowball says too far away, working hard to bring it forward.

Fingers and toes crossed for you MG! I just walked briskly half way up to school (we live on a hill) behind DD who cycled for the first time, and ohmygoodness my silly leg didn't like it :( so the thought of doing 12 miles puts the wotsits up me!!

Hoorah, its sunny and one load of washing is out and another is hopefully getting ready to do the final spin in the machine. I've not bothered to look at the weather report but as my washing seems to dry in no time in a breeze, I'm hopeful, ever hopeful.

Did an AF order this morning so we will have bulgar wheat coming out of our proverbials soon (DD doesn't like it, so she can have pasta and I'll have wheat, so eke out our pasta supplies).

Got to get ready to find out my fate at the hospital this morning, will my leg be bionic before I know it or do I have a few more years metal-free?

They dont see laundry, the dish/spoon that got missed out of the DW when there was still plenty of room, the shopping thet needs putting away and the bl00dy jar of chutney they put on their cheese sandwiches that has sat on work top for a week and hasnt been put away too:mad::D

Dont get me started on the tools lying around on their way to the shed...................:rotfl::rotfl:

Definitely have cases of all of the above - do they think socks fly into the washing machine and back into the drawer?
So glad we don't have a shed now!

Goodish news - car will cost £150 to get thru MOT - but £100 of that is for two tyres which I already knew about - there is another £100 in the Maintenance pot so looks like the car will live to fight another while yet.

At the very least if I can keep it running till end of June then no mega walks in the offing.

Has Igamogam surfaced yet?? We want to hear all about her surprise trip.
