Great new Moam - raising a cuppa to you all as we speak:beer:

Made all my new cleaning potions - so am doing a wee Flylady in my kitchen - 15 minutes per cupboard, taking out no more than I can deal with and putting it back.

How come my kitchen feels lovely and hygienic - then I start to Spring Clean and I realise it is completely minging????

God bless bicarb, vinegar, stardrops and good old elbow grease.

    MG

Wonder how Groatie is getting on with her move?

    What great news MOAM.

Well, been to Aldi with voucher from Daily Mirror so won't need to go shopping for a week or so. And I found a fiver in the street. No one around at the time to give it back to so it is going in the phone fund :)

Great news MOAM and a very wise decision - people need to spend on themselves so that they can have the strength to continue.

MG, with me what meakes difference about levels of cleanliness is whether or not I am wearing my glasses :).

And my news: I am officially in training for the Lausanne marathon in October. My birthday will be selebrated in style - well, sweaty and muddy style but still...Off for a swim now and starting running, gym and other madness tomorrow. Oh, and starting to eat like a French woman.

Point taken FW - off to take out my contacts LOL

Play Date is over - two wee American lads off home with the remainder of the pot of grape jelly ................. they were so happy, funny lads. Still it made for a very easy lunch all round.

Turned the "leftover" juice from the 2 huge tins of tomatoes I made the salsa from last night into "al sugo" sauce and frozen them in my muffin tin as individual portions. Each one is enough to coat a bowl of pasta - so 18 meals done and dusted - Yayyyy!!!

Now - its Saturday and it is pizza night for the boys - then a layer of bicarb on the oven overnight to get it clean - OH I know how to live LOL

I am back home after the trip to the South.

Happy belated birthday Cheery, Kittikins and Igamogam :bdaycake:

Interviews went really well, I can't think of anything I could have done or said differently. So THANK YOU!!! :j I will find out on Monday. EEEKKK!! But now we are going to slump in front of the telly, it has been long drive yesterday and today.

  • Hello Matrix. A late check in for me because I was in quite a state by the time I got home last night. Ahem. Plentiful alcohol and laughs and fun and it was just brilliant! I don't have a hangover per se, but the alcohol stopped my immune system from fighting a bad head cold, so I have got a cold and cough full force now. I don't regret it though. I had a blast!

Lots of love to all the Matrix. Off to find a quiet corner for the remainder of the day. Hope I feel more like myself tomorrow! :)

oooh... Marru... are you going to move down near me :D Fingers crossed.

Glad you had a great time Crickett - now make the most of the rest of your time off. You'll be starting your new job before you know it.

Have washed all the shelves in the study and cleaned all the stuff on them. Just need to do the chest of drawers and top of the wardrobe/suitcases and that'll be the last of the dust from the floors gone.

I'm barely home for the next month, as I'm travelling for work at least part of each of the next four weeks and then have two weeks off. The plan is to try to eat from the freezer and cupboards as I won't have time to shop, and it will clear some space (and mean I can defrost one, if not both, the freezers).

I'm planning a bath next, and an early night, and tomorrow will be more housework and packing for Monday's work trip...

Sadly no, I would be pretty much the same distance away but just to the other direction.

    Morning all.

Dh still poorly so up with the icklies again - they have no respect for the hour I got in last night/this morning :p Rhod gilbert was so funny I was sobbing laughing and this morning my face and sides ache, just sad dh couldn't go :(

Uni work today, yesterday was a washout as dh spent most of day in bed/bathroom being ill so I had to do mum-type stuff. Am a bit worried about him tbh and he's off to docs later/tomorrow if not better.
