When I lose something I always pick up the most unlikely object in the room that is wherever it shouldn't be (well, that usually covers nearly anything) and the lost object is generally sheltering underneath it....0

Crickett, I'm sorry you're down today after yesterday was such a good day. Why don't you plan out a fantasy novel during your R&R - I remember you once saying you really wanted to write one. And make yourself the heroine, of course, together with faithful poochIt doesn't matter if you are a glass half full or half empty sort of person. Keep it topped up! Cheers!0

still sending Marru positive vibes.....
well my lovely, lovely friend came round without children, and stayed here cleaning, hoovering, washing, while DS and I made 4 trips to CS with items. They were loving us at first especially when I said I would definitely like to do gift aid, they have only recently qualified for it.
And then when we went with last items, their computers had gone down!
Friend was :A, bedroom looks fantastic! I keep going in there to have a look at it! It is so clean, no clothes, no junk, just the things that should be in there.
She hoovered, washed the bathroom, hung my clothes up, and has left my home looking lovely. So light and airy and I feel so much better for it!
Hugs, birthday wishes and positive vibes to everybody.0 -
My Mum allway's used a prayer/spell thing that seem's to work to the patron saint of lost thing's, goes like this:-
St Antony,St Antony, return what dose not belong to thee.
Daft I know but what have you got to lose, and remember to say thank you when it turn's up.hth
What can I say, I said the prayer and I have found my missing stamp!
Thanks everyone:T0 -

Need to get some work done, and am failing dismally.0 -

Aaargh today has been a technology free day since the whole area had no internet, no fax and no intranet (council based e-stuff) so back to basics type day which was quite nice tbh - but glad I have got it working at home.
Tonight is birthday party for a little one then throw kids in bed and then gut downstairs before dh comes home at 10pm so he can just crawl off to his sick bed (tonsilitis and dodgy tum but insisting on going to work)
Tomorrow is kid taxi day then off to see Rhod Gilbert in the cheap seats in the sky - can't wait:jMortgage £119,533 going down slowly
Emergency fund £1000/£1000
Savings for big things £90170
