A cuppa is always a good idea Marru, always.

Now I need to go and write up a recipe that's been requested - if I leave it till after dinner I fear I won't bother.

Second carp day in a row - doesnt usually happen like this. Spent a lot of time thinking last night and have come to the conclusion that yesterdays incident was a definite sign - time to accept that change is inevitable, embrace it and plan to get the best from it. Feel totally let down by the head I currently answer to - odd position I work for the authority based in a school. I am not employed by the school so there can often be tension when it comes to LEA issues, of which I can see both sides! Unfortunately I dont suffer fools amongst fellow professionals and this head is very kind hearted but promoted beyond their capabilities ( not just my opinion but all of the staff!) so now I feel let down I find I also have no loyalty nor appetite to continue with the work I do in this setting...............so onwards into a bit of a step into the unknown if I am truthful

Wowsers -are you ladies ever taking off at the moment - soaring in fact. I applaud you all.

Had a "Fan Letter" today so there is the cutest pictures ever of a "Mortgage Countdown House" to inspire you all to have a go over on MF HQ.

Time to move my bahookie and go and feed some boys - how come I feed them every night and then they turn up again the next night looking for food ??

    Back later

I'm contemplating an AF order BUT I stll have masses of food in the house, and I'm barely here between now and the middle of the month so I think a delivery might be a bit tricky...

You're right... but if any of you spot any ricola herb drops (of any flavour, sugar free or with sugar) on there, please order the entire stock for me :D they are the best thing for my throat as they last for ages, keep the saliva flowing and I don't feel I'm eating sweets.

Two more months on my fit note and speech therapy to make sure I don't balls up my recovery :o Bet my boss is thrilled...

Still, off to Lisbon tomorrow for work - any recommendations for restaurants/sightseeing? We're staying here for two nights.

Suppose I should keep going with the laundry and contemplate doing some packing as well. Must remember my swimming stuff!

    Hi folks,

I've not disappeared of the face of the earth - I have been lurking but as I've got a bad arm at the moment I'm trying not to use computer/mouse unless absolutely necessary. If I don't use my arm at night I can just about get through a day at work - & I do feel I owe it to them to try - they do pay me, after all.

It's nothing major - either trapped nerve or sore muscley bits. But boy is it a pain...

Lara - sorry to hear about you Gran - I hope all goes as well as it cn.

    Igamogam - (((((hugs)))))

Crickett - hope your cold thingy improves soon..

But on the bright side for a wummin with a sore paw - Extereme Couponing is on tonight (Disc realtime, I think) - but Channel 240 on Sky.

  • I'm so fedup of virtual clutter - for the next week I promise to unsubscribe from all newsletters/information/roundups unless they are useful, thoughtful or plain good fun. Make me think or smile or off you go. We have all subscribed or signed up, and they don't do it, outlive their usefulness or are just junk....and junk I have aplenty in the real world....

MG & FW blogs definitely stay though....I need you!

Will be an interesting exercise I think, and I'm curious to see how many things I ditch - 7 today... Anyone want to join me?

Although no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.... life is a WIP.

Cheers missus, £40 order in, that's the couscous and savoury rice sorted for the next 16 months if the last order is anything to go buy. And ordered NO cr*p apart from 15 bags of WW Hulahoops :A.
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort
