    Auditing - yuck!!!

It wouldn't do for us all to be the same would it ;-)

But for you, it sounds lovely :) Go for it girl x
  • Thanks TMIF and Maryb! I am a weird one, I do like auditing! Plus, I think I will be better at it this time around, because I have experienced life actually doing the jobs I will be auditing, if that makes sense? And if I don't like it, well, it is only a contract and I can leave and go and do something else! :D

The recruitment agency has contacted me this morning, and I am officially on their books! :D

So, one income stream potentially sorted from June onwards. Now to work on the other ones!

Bless your DS Dora, he sounds so sweet. Hope you're all not feeling too ropey today.

    Cricket - that sounds:)
    Claire - that sounds :(

Had a very cultural evening last night - went to see a concert given by Catrin Finch ( harpist). Fab - traditional.classical and very contemporary pieces - I just love the electric harp. DD2 did have lessons at school but we really couldn't afford to buy her her own harp - we would have had to up graded to an estate car to transport the damned thing more than anything :rotfl: Thank goodness she stuck to the clarinet;)

Already feeling the benefits of the free cavity wall insulation - blizzard last night and no howling draughts - result!

House to myself to day and already wasted too much time putting off things:D

Hi All, generally just lurk and read but i now have questions :)

MG - I am sort of keeping up with this thread while trying to read make do and mend, all info is greatly received and digested, and some of it is being put into practice......which sort of leads me to my point.

My DS is 7, (well nearly) is doing well at school, above average for state education, has always been independent and has been brought up to value independence etc gets to make his own decisions about some things, hopefully you have a reasonable picture. Would you consider that its too early to start to teach him mindmapping skills? I need to do more research as well. I don't want him to be overstretched and then not be interested, so I thought I would ask a pro.

    Thank you

MG is away until Saturday so don't be disheartened by a lack of response from her. I'd say you can start now... if he doesn't seem interested, try again in a few months?

I have an interview tomorrow for flight operations :D sent my cv this afternoon and 10 minutes later had an email asking if i could come in tomorrow for an interview!

Sounds like its the week for good news on jobs!

Well done to both Crickett & Psycho.

Suppose I should do some work, although I'm feeling sorry for myself as I appear to have a cold :(

Thank you, mad as a box of frogs is a pretty good description of DS sometimes, well more often than sometimes.
