Crickett I know someone who decided on a similar path to you - she typed out her resignation letter and emailed it to her work account. In theory, knowing she had control of the situation and all she had to do was open, print and sign the letter, she would be able to put up with work until she found another job. In practice, she lasted till lunch on the 1st day .

Well what a day for you... Wow!

I get to find out whether there's a job for me in the new structure tomorrow, and you know what? I don't know if I want there to be or not.

Hi Crickett,

really pleased you have resigned - you so didn't want to be going into that job anymore. I did the same a few years ago when I was v unhappy in my job and haven't regretted it though being self employed has its up and downs but I'm still here and so much happier.

Hope you get to enjoy some down time with Dottie when she arrives and take care of yourself
