What a day! But in a good way.

I had a lot of deep and meaningful conversations with my hubby last night, and we came to a decision. I was to see how I felt this morning going into work, and if I needed to, I should resign and see if they would pay me 3 months pay in lieu of notice. I had a panic attack on the way to the tram this morning, and so once i calmed myself down, I got into work, typed out my resignation letter and gave it to my bosses boss. It took them until 1.30 to organise everything, but they agreed. My final day at that hell hole is tomorrow @ 12 noon.

I feel about three tonnes lighter than I was yesterday! I know it is right thing to do, but hell's teeth it was scary too.

I have to do a handover with my Boss tomorrow, which is going to be awkward, but never mind. I am looking forward to picking up Dotty and bringing her home. It is going to be so exciting!!

Now I have to find homes for all of my crap that I bought home from the office! This may take some time!

Crickett, glad that you could resolve things on your own terms. Good luck for tomorrow. My OH is leaving work tomorrow too, his decision, but he is still having mixed emotions so mind how you go.:grouphug:

Felt lousy last night - crushing stomach pains so slept on sofa ready for being sick or t'other end and nothing - wide awake all night for nothing !!!!!! was that about? Today feel fine but very tired and a bit niggly with other people as a result but have kept my opinions to myself and survived - 2 days of the madness to go

1 more sleep till Dotty Day!! YAY!!

Puppy proofed the downstairs of the house. Just need to sort out upstairs and where we are going to put Dotty's water and food bowl, but I can do that tomorrow when she is home. I found a perfect container for her dry food, and her meat tins have been stacked next to the cat food tins. I have also de-flea'd the cats, just in case, so I am not flavour of the month at all!

Well done on being brave crickett and taking the bull by the horns. Hope the final few hours fly past tomorrow then your new life begins. You will feel like a new woman in no time at all.

It is amazing how sometimes just one event makes the scales fall off our eyes and what we have been battling against or with for ages is suddenly seen for what it really is and how much damage it is causing us. Then the decision almost becomes very simple, you just KNOW that you have to do it and everything will work out in the end.

I am freaking myself out. Universe is listening. Today I went to this ACCA meeting where the topic of the evening was - no not cash flows - personal branding. It was very very good. And as a result of her talking about online presense I finally bit the bullet and googled myself - OMG!!! Ok it wasn't too bad but those of you who know me know that my name is pretty unique. I would actually go as far as to say I am the one and only in the whole blimming world with this name. Need to be very mindful about what to put out there with my real name.

But!! In the event this evening there was this lady who had quit her stressful corporate accountant job and now works as a therapist but still gets teaching and auditing jobs. I had a chat with her and have now her business card. :j That is exactly what I want to do, have my "softy softy" business and then doing projects in the areas that I am good at on the more rational side. I might find out what this branding consultant charges - I definitely need help getting the right message out there. Cmon - accountant who talks to animals - I need to be taken seriously in both roles.

First things first. I am going to Angel channeling course this Saturday. What a treat!! The person running it was also brought into my life "by accident".
