Sorry to hear that TMIF - would it be possible to get working tax credits if there is such a drop in the salaries?0
-
Hugs TMIF, Thats c**p. Happened to OH a couple of times and it is horrible to deal with.
Have you some limited salary protection for a period of time to make adjustments where you can?0 -
Just got back in from the garden - Cheering on crickett:j to TMIF news.
Hon that cut is what I live on:eek: Can you make a plan that makes it OK to work? That is a massive amount just to strike out of a budget.
Crappy, crappy news - are they allowed to do that?
Had a bit of a spendy day - Family railcard and tickets to Manchester for us all on the 10th. Will just have to be careful with the food / fuel spendies for a week or so to bring everything level again.
Hugs all round

Good afternoon
I have been reading but not posting, So thought I had better delurk as you are wondering where I am
DS2 started his new school on Monday, he was very dehydrated yesterday and had a headache from hell so I kept him home, this morning he got up fine and went to school, no arguments or nothing.
I have been trying to swat up on wordpress so I can use the website that MrF has done for me, but I'm afraid its too over my headBoiler pot £30.92/£10000 -
Oh I hope no one I work with reads this...
Effectively they are restructuring, so all the old jobs cease to be, and there is a new structure coming into being.
So we can choose to stay and apply for new roles within the new structure, or leave. So currently, I do my role, but this does not exist in the new scheme. There will be 5 similar posts at the same grade compared to the 15 there are now. There are the same total number of roles, with a massive increase in the lower grade positions.
Only at the end of the redeployment process will anyone be made redundant if they don't fit into new roles.
There is no salary protection for any period of time.
As for tax credits, I beleive the cap is £14k so not applicable.0 -

I know, and I am in awe of how you manage...
My monthly DD's are £900 before any food or petrol or anything vaguely resembling fun, and after a trim-down post !!!!!!. I am not sure any more cutting is possible.
If I chose to leave, it'd be 31st July, so I have 4 months... I either need to get one of these 5 sacred same grade jobs or get another one elsewhere.
Simple.
Now, a CV and a slice of cake0 -
TMIF: That's awful news but do check tax credits web site as I think you'll find its a bit higher than £14000, not sure what but definately was higher. Good luck.Debt at start of DMP 1/6/09: £2942 - £1942
