Sorry it was such carp news TMIF :(

Had a so-so day today - tried to avoid some people and managed to, tried not to b*tch about some people and failed, went in with good intentions but left most of them in the boot of the car but at least I managed to sing my way into a better mood than I started the day with. Just got to feed, bath, read to my babies tonight with no pressure to do much else - those are the best nights.

Sorry to read about your news TMIF - that is a bit of a shock and will take a while to get your head round it. Good luck with whatever you decide to do
  • Oh TMIF, your news totally sucks! :( I am sorry. Let me know if you need any help with anything okay? NTU should be looking for a new management accountant in the next couple of weeks! ;)

I just KNEW i had the Matrix behind me today. I was calm, my eyes didn't leak and I was able to get through the whole day and feel really good.

Dotty is home and making herself VERY comfortable. I appear to have gained a black and tan shadow, but the kitchen floor is going to be spotless! She is a hoover on legs! :D

She has also just done her second blog post. Cos she is clever like that! :D

    Thanks for your support everyone!

  • Hahaha Crickett - very funny...! If I was brave enough to move, it'd be to Brighton or area, as I have said before :P But thanks for the thought.

I have spent this afternoon getting paid to write my CV - I now have 2 versions, because according to the recruitment chap I spoke to on the phone said they like 1 page ones at the moment.

Glad Dotty's settling in - is it time for a new snap on here?

Right, better trawl the internet for jobs - can't afford to assume I will get the job i want, so'd better made plans eh x

  • What a cutie Dotty is! She's just gorgeous and looks so at home. What do the cats think of her so far?

  • She looks very comfy :) x
  • Making progress here. Someone is coming on Saturday to dismantle and take away the huge wardrobe and the double bed, for her sister who is starting from scratch. All that's left to dispose of is a sofa I love, but it is too big for the new place - and I hope that someone who was unsuccessful on Freegle re the bedroom furniture may be interested in taking the sofa. He works for the local council and may know of someone who needs it.

The "and finally" piece of furniture is my (too large) dining table and I'll freegle that nearer to departure date: it's my sorting, shredding and packing station at present!

Took a large pot and cordyline which had been the centrepiece in my front garden to its new home this afternoon (too big for the new garden). It's gone to live with my best friend so I'll see it from time to time! Her husband is coming to dig up my rhubarb on Saturday and we'll split it between us. I've moved with this rhubarb several times and it's part of my putting down roots in each new place. Fourteen years since the last transplant!!

I am around too, thanks for asking. And my daughter is still making jewellery, so if anyone fancies a look pm me for her facebook page! She does have a website but hasn't been able to keep it up to date so much recently.
