fully understand this sentiment, and know we all have this goal in mind, in our ways, be it DDs, DSs, dogs, cats, jobs, new homes, etc. :)

MG, can I ask, does your blog have the facility to subscribe when anyone posts anything new? Like all the comments? Being a pain, but I have to remember to go through and check for comments on your posts. I like reading them.

My friends / family are mainly happy with their lot. Those that aren't don't necessarily have the drive to make things much different and just hope for a lotto win. I can't stand still because I want more for my boys.

I am very pleased to hear this - the Matrix members who have been around for a long time would remember that I was always the one who said that we can do anything we decide to and are smart about the ways 'to get there'.

I have been recently accused of putting 'big ideas' in people's heads; 'ideas that could never be'. Well, I can't see anything wrong with big, ambitious ideas - these are the salt of the Earth and the joy in our lives.

    Don't stand still!

Erm! I dunno! seriously I don't - but I know a man that does. Let me ask Mr F and see what he says.

In the meantime the overwhelming opinion on "What Price Letters of Love" is to go and find the guy. Now he is a pretty prolific actor and director so it shouldn't be too hard.

I betcha a penny to a pound that if he had been an Ex BF - you would all have been saying "Don't go back, never revisit the past" - but I can assure you there is nothing "Romantic" about this re-connection.

Wonder if he is on Faccebook - mind you to stay true to the ethos of the post it should probably be a real old fashioned pen and ink job shouldn't it?

Off to stalk in cyberspace :rotfl:

Not sure whether to send you a WWMGD t-shirt or invite you to join the A-Team :rotfl: :rotfl:

Sounds like a pretty creative solution though :D

Could I have the t-shirt please? When I get stuck then I could look down and there would be the answer.:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

  • Hello Matrix!

What a day! But in a good way. :D

I had a lot of deep and meaningful conversations with my hubby last night, and we came to a decision. I was to see how I felt this morning going into work, and if I needed to, I should resign and see if they would pay me 3 months pay in lieu of notice. I had a panic attack on the way to the tram this morning, and so once i calmed myself down, I got into work, typed out my resignation letter and gave it to my bosses boss. It took them until 1.30 to organise everything, but they agreed. My final day at that hell hole is tomorrow @ 12 noon. :D

I feel about three tonnes lighter than I was yesterday! I know it is right thing to do, but hell's teeth it was scary too.

I have to do a handover with my Boss tomorrow, which is going to be awkward, but never mind. I am looking forward to picking up Dotty and bringing her home. It is going to be so exciting!! :D

Now I have to find homes for all of my crap that I bought home from the office! This may take some time! :o

oh Crickett what a brave thing to do. Well done to you! Yes it's scary but also the start of new beginnings. Xx
  • Good call, Crickett. Now you can take time to recover from the stress and depression the job had caused. I think the feeling of having taken back control by resigning is a very positive thing.

Now you can enjoy getting Dottie home and settling her in, and think how to develop your new income streams.

Well done and big hugs (((( ))))
If you have a talent, use it in every which way possible. Don't hoard it. Don't dole it out like a miser. Spend it lavishly like a millionaire intent on going broke.
