Doing my best to post when I can, Fantasia - nice to see you! - but I'm not 100% at present which is a pain, and getting on with packing up my house singlehanded... and then there's work lol... but this is my go-to thread on MSE and where I feel at home... everyone's lives go through cycles and I guess there are seasons to people's need and desire to drop in. I guess we all do what we can when we can.If you have a talent, use it in every which way possible. Don't hoard it. Don't dole it out like a miser. Spend it lavishly like a millionaire intent on going broke.

I like MG and Firewalker's Blogs.
My DS loves MG's blog, because of the food.
Ways to a Man's heart Aesop:rotfl:
Fantasia - I have no idea how to respond to such anger - other than to say, people change, they move on and have different focus. I am debt free now and working on my real life business - a huge step forward for me ................ and I am Happy.
But if there is something you miss about the old threads why not start one for yourself if you think that would help others.
And there is a whole universe of blogs out there - you don't have to read any that don't make you happy.
In the meantime, I shall keep on keeping on, because I am content finding my way forward into the future with my boys - it's working for me.
So today's "Meh!"Frog is preparing one of the letting rooms for painting - meaning lots of moving furniture, clutter busting and cleaning ...... so I think I shall rustle out a pile of CD's to listen to. Brian Adams to clean paintwork to :T
Later I have a meet with a local Super Head - one of his pupils has a chance to attend Space Camp and needs to raise some money, so I have offered a day of my time to run an event - so excited for her:j
Then this evening I have a Skype call with a mate in NYC to push on one of my pet projects, so need to pin up the Mind Map to revue throughout the day.
Getting busier on my individual revenue streams for the MFinthree challenge - slowly, but nice and steady the projects are coming to fruition.
Off to feed the boys

ETA - just opened the door to go hang out some washing and nearly fell over a bag of tatties. Note on from guy who runs shop saying thanks for helping to sort out their middle ones studying habits - she is off "rock and rolling" ................... as a wee thankyou - Red Roosters our favourite YAY!!!!!FINALLY AND OFFICIALLY DEBT FREESmall Emergency Fund £500 / £500

Fantasia, I am not sure but it seems that you are holding me reposible for changing this thread. You may have noticed that I am around very little these days - probably for the reasons MG mentioned. Apart from that, all I ever have done around this forum (my diary and MG's) is to offer support and help.
As to my blog, there seems to be many people who relate to it and find it useful. I am open to any suggestions (sent to me) what you would like to see on it.
Apart from that 'every train has its passangers' and you probably need a different train; just like my 'train' is for other passengers.

Has anyone considered that this was NOT Fantasia posting ??0

This is the one thread that I come to on MSE - I feel as though I can share what is going on in my life and glean information and support from others here. I love MG's and Firewalkers blogs - they make a great deal of sense to me. MG shares recipes which are far better than any biscuit, cake, sweetmeat etc that can be bought readymade from a shop. I am now more likely to make things from scratch or even adapt and create something for the home than I did before - thanks MG.
This thread has been a great support to me when I hit hard times, I am slowly coming through those times and have money saved in my credit union account (I hadn't even heard of credit unions until I joined this thread), it isnt a great deal of money but it is money saved nonetheless. My life is changing for the better and folks here have picked me up when I have been down, given me the necessary kick up the jacksy when I needed it as well. I am starting to make plans again because I now see that I have a future, sure my business is dormant and will be for sometime but it is not dead and will be resurrected when I am more financially stable. I have a new home to look forward to thanks to my parents - to even ask them for help was huge because I have always been fiercely independent.
The way things are going I could have a new job soon - even one that I could walk too which would save me even more money. The salary is realistic and it will give me enough to pay my bills and live a bit more comfortably and more importantly I will be able to save and start to pay my parents back for the help and support they have given me over the past few months.
As with life friends come and friends go - lives get busier so although we may connect with people infrequently they are still our friends.0 -
Fantasia - if you don't like something - then pitch in and change it!
Just my opinion, but I found your post quite rude to MG and also to FW.:A :heartpuls June 2014 / £2014 in 2014 / £735.97 / 36.5%0 -

Hope this one works out; if not keep trying. Our DS1 is so happy that he finally has a job after four years. And I know that it is very hard psychologically but...

I apologise if I offended. The post which I deleted was badly worded. Clearly this is not for me anymore, and I think I need to take a long hard look at things in general. Again ladies I am sorry.0

Sorry to hear that but good luck with all you decide to do. If you need support in that just shout out!
