Let's try this one: how many of you rmemember what was the weather on this date 11 years ago? I thought so!
Here it was a lovely bright day, but it was cold and it snowed. Yep, sunshine and snow together. And the reason I remember is because I was in hospital having DS3. Today he is 11 and we are so happy and lucky to have him.

Happy Birthday to DS3, FW and Mr F. Hope that you are all having a wonderful day.0

I know I have this "thing" about people being late (hang over from years as a Stage Manager) but I am calmer now and not so ticked off. Still I think it is only manners to let people know you will be late, or not going to attend.
After all I took time away from work - paid for childcare for DS2 and turned up on time for a meeting about my boy - where she was I am still none the wiser.

As a parent you should be able to contact the EP service yourself - an email to principle/senior EP is in order - to not turn up is plain unprofessional. Your school ALNCO/SENCO should also be complaining. I deal with EPs everyday and they are rarely late without a damned good excuse or prior warning and if they failed to attend I would spit roast them after I have recorded my feelings to their line managerHTH :rotfl:

Ey up Matrix.
I love reading how every one is doing most days. I have got into a habit of coming home, feeding the cats and then sitting down to do my internetty bits before hubby arrives home.
Happy Birthday to Firewalkers DS3!
Well, I have had a dreadful day. Feel utterly crap and it was so bad, I actually had a cry in the car on the way home.I haven't done that before. Still looking around for jobs, but unfortunately, there is nothing out there at the moment. Not sure how much longer I can put up with this crap. Trying to hang on, but think I might need to take sick leave for depression at some point. Really don't want to... but if I need to for my health, then so be it.
Anyway, had to fill my prescription this evening, so I popped into Morrison's and had a look for some nice stuff for tea on the whoopsie shelf. I managed to get chicken pieces, bacon and bagged salad, with garlic bread. That will do nicely!!
Hoping that tomorrow is better at work (have a meeting with the boss to show that the budget I have set is actually tight, and tell her "no, I can't tighten it further to save your a** because you can't set your own budget tight enough to meet target" but phrased in a way that will not get me my P45 handed to me directly! :rotfl: I'm thinking...! :rotfl:

Feeling grumpy today - no specific reason just grumpy and want everyone to leave me well alone (hmmm maybe time of month is on its way then) Felt so grumpy that as well as getting a tank full of petrol I got 4 mars bars (in an mse £1 pack) So in order not to ruin the healthy eating I have left them in the car with my school planning so there is no way I will get it out of the boot:rotfl:

Aw big hugs Dora and Crickett - sorry your days have been so carp. Well done on resisting the choccie Dora! I am seriously counting down the days to Easter Sunday
I did my very 1st proper big shop in Aldi's today. I couldn't believe how much I got for my money. Horace - i bought one of the large chickens. I'll be cooking it tomorrow and then freezing it in meal portions. At the mo the slowcooker is on with 3 lamb steaks I found in the co-op reduced to £1.75!!
Hope your son has had a fab 11th birthday, FW.One step at a time0 -
Well polished off the banana breakfast bars - they lasted 24 hrs! have made second batch tonight whilst waiting for tea to cook - made the double the quantity and used chopped apricots( last lot had figs) - will have to freeze some if its to last more than 24 hrs:rotfl:Be the change you want to see -with apologies to Gandhi

Hello Peeps
(((((Hugs to you Crickett))))) I really hope work perks up soon. Hopefully everyone will chill out a bit with the Springtime coming now. Here's an early Easter chicken:
:easter:
MG - naughty ed psych - hope she gets in touch with you soon.
Happy Birthday FW DS! :T
All this Lidl and Aldi chat is very interesting - I'll have to get myself there to have a look around.
I am at home to visit my Gran, who has been poorly lately and is in the hospital. She looked good, but is no longer really mentally present, or really herself anymore. I felt really sad, but I know that this is life.
Tomorrow - onwards and upwards... Meeting up with my cousin for lunch who is expecting a baby in the next few weeks. The cycle of joys and sorrows continues. But we are all together.:A :heartpuls June 2014 / £2014 in 2014 / £735.97 / 36.5%0 -
