Dorastar, that sounds a lovely tea. I managed to avoid the takeaway pizza trap and instead we had grilled steak and a green salad with low calorie jelly for pud. I feel very virtuous!
It is not even 10pm, and I am ready to poddle off to bed. Woo. What a wild life I lead. Still feeling a bit bleak from the news on Friday about the job; I especially don't want to go to work tomorrow. The atmosphere in the office is really difficult to deal with, and even when I try not to notice it, it is really hard to be motivated about doing my work when I just hate being there. I really don't know how I am going to be able to carry on at work at the moment... I can't see a way out of this particular alley way just at the moment.I am sure the Universe will enlighten me at some point. I just wish it would get a move on!!
Okay... off to beddiebyes I go... might do some reading first though. Night all!"A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort"Herm Albright 1876-19440 -
Hopeful, my DH was suggested trying chickweed by Holland Barrett for his Psoriasis, it worked, until they stopped selling it!
The woman I spoke to suggested that he needs to take fish oils and ensure he eats oily fish during the week, she said this will stop the skin drying out and getting itchy.
Is it worth trying your DS on something similiar? Make sure he has oily fish 2/3 times a week, and maybe children's fish oils?
That's a good thought. He's decided since Christmas that he no longer likes fish! Isn't funny how they suddenly change their minds when they're this small? I will have to look at supplements.
How are you feeling now? Have you had any chance to look for another job?One step at a time0 -

It's a horrible situation to be in. It is times like this, the key is to visualise where you want to be, but not how you're going to get there. I hope you arrive at your desired destination sooner rather than laterOne step at a time0 -

My DS is a pain for food, what he eats at nursery he won't eat at home, he only has white spaghetti! no sauce mummy! How am I supposed to mix his vegetables with the sauce?
I am nearly feeling human again, but not had a chance to look for another job. Like Crickett, am not looking forward to work on Tuesdayespecially as one of my colleagues texted me on Thursday asking how I was enjoying my holiday. I ignored the text particularly as I had received bad news that day, but because he is a gossip and think he just wanted to gossip about something or probably me!:cool:
Didn't even get a chance to list anything new this weekend on ebay, just relisted stuff that hasn't sold from last free listing.
will try to look over next few weeks.0 -

What an idiot (man from work!). Well you must remember to text him when you do get another job!
I haven't done any ebaying either. The whole week and weekend has been consumed by the eldest's birthday. He's had a fab week though so it was worth it. March is a fresh start for everything: finance, housework and everything else I've [STRIKE]ignored[/STRIKE] overlooked this last week or so!!
How old is your youngest? Mine's just over 2.
I hope you enjoy tomorrow without it being overshadowed with going back on Tuesday. One step at a time0 -
Crickett - Sorry to hear things in office not great but I'm sure there is something on the horizon for you - for both of us
keep at it. I can feel a surge on energy coming along - Spring is just around the corner

!!!!!! - managed some sleep last night but have woken up this morning with even less voice (if that was possible) and a sore throat and mouth that I didn't have before. And still coughing and snotty. I thought my temperature had gone, but woke up sweating during the night and am now stinky with a horrible clammy bed
GP is due to call at midday and I'm not sure she'll be able to hear me. Think I might have to insist that OH comes back over, but I'm not sure I want someone around the house fussing. My DB has sent me one text, but not offered to help or visit... I'm tempted to not bother to babysit next time they need help, but at wouldn't be fair on the children. However, I do wonder why these things always end up working one way...
I am totally and utterly fed up and need to try to find a way to turn around and make things more positive.
Here's hoping for a productive week for everyone!0 -
Sorry your still feeling pants greenbee but glad to see you have got a little bit of sleep.
Here comes another suggestion from meManuka honey. The higher the + rating the better it is. Can be eaten direct off the spoon if you like.
http://manukahoney.com/resources/conditions/sore-throats.html
I am not suggesting that youmbuy it from this site, more showing you how it's beneficial. My friend who has terrible chest problems takes it to suppress her issues and it works for her. Anecdotal I know but gotta be worth a shot.
Hugs for crickett, hope you can pick yourself up xxxxI have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knifeLouise Brooks

I can second the Manuka Honey too. I took it daily when I had a nasty cold recently, and it took away my sore throat almost immediately. It is expensive thoughOD [STRIKE] £2600 [/STRIKE] £0 :j Loan [STRIKE]£9500.00[/STRIKE] £0 :j Car [STRIKE]£3150[/STRIKE] £0 :j Moving Costs [STRIKE]£1300[/STRIKE] £0 :j Savings £1150 :j

Oh Dear - we are a sorry lot - lets make this last just till the end of Feb and like Hopeful says new month new start.
I'm with greenbee - hardly any voice, but seeing as this weeks work is colouring in I won't worry too much.
Countdown to Mondstore has started - so I warn you I shall be back a week today full a pep, viogur and being doubly annoying. New schemes, new goals and a new direction - doesn't seem too much to ask for does it LOL
Off to pack lunch boxes - so I hope everyone else is up and at 'em as much as they are able.
