sorry you didn't get the job Igamogam.

yes, you are right, rather then doing the whole interview process, they should just appoint internally. They did in our place! Mind you there were a lot of complaints that people were not offered the chance to interview for a job they didn't even know was going to exist!

But great on the feedback and next time it will be yours.
  • I looked up the lyrics MG - :rotfl::rotfl:priceless!

Had to report that after 2 1/2hours, 2 Youtube videos, a bit of swearing and a bit of help from OH I successfully managed to repair the washing machine door:jbiggest problem was not having enough hands.

Was so impressed with myself and frugal repairs I went on and made chocolate chruncie cakes and orange curd fairy buns. I love being frugal:j

Grated rind and juice of 2 large oranges
    Juice of 1/2 lemon
    225gr caster sugar
    100 gr Butter
    3 egg yolks beaten

Place all ingerdients in top of double saucepan or heatproof bowl over saucepan of boiling water.
Heat gently stirring for 20mins and mixture has thickened and coats back of spoon.
    Strain, pot and cover.

I found this very sweet, so next time will try and reduce sugar a bit. Very yummy! Also took a bit longer to get thick.

    Hope you enjoy it.

I think the interview on friday went ok, i won't hear anything for about 2 weeks though.

Still, I had also sent off my cv for another receptionist job (rubbish money but it's only about a 10-15 min walk from my home so no petrol costs! ) and i was called today for to set ip an interview appt - friday at 3.30pm!

  • Great news scaredy cat, it keeps the momentum going. Fingers crossed for you.

All the paperwork got handed to the solicitor, and I asked him to do my anti-moneylaundering ID whilst I was there - so I don't have to go back for that. And gave him my email address. Things can take their course now.

All the paperwork got sorted when we were doing one of MG/MrB/mentors' challenges so it was all together and ready to go. That felt so good just being able to grab it and go!
