Great news on the money front Hopeful!
Got to sleep before midnight, and woke in a puddle at 2.30, but at some point got back to sleep and woke again at 6. So more sleep than i've had all week! Brain seems to be working, so as I've taken painkillers, but antibiotics and breakfast aren't due for a bit I might log on to work and see whether I can shift some of the stuff that has been annoying me... DW needs emptying, and then I might see about tackling some onion soup...0 -
Wow I had one of those funny nights sleep - where you dream all sorts. Now I often dream - and when I wake up they have gone ................... but this one has stuck around. Been up three hours now.
I dreamed of that guy again - remember the one outside the theatre? Only this time he was showing me around this gorgeous modern house (not my usual sort of dream house and not the house I use for my Mindstore visualisations) Normally I dream of old houses with hidden rooms - but I had the strongest feeling that I was going to be moving into this one.
It was a bright sunny day - but cold outside with flecks of snow falling, inside was beautifully light and modern - loads of windows looking onto green garden (although I am sure it was in the city)
Oh, and small detail, I was pregnant - heavily so, enough that I could feel the baby kicking inside (bear in mind I shall be 43 this year so this is looking unlikely to actually be)
Wonder why this house is sticking in my head?

House
To see a house in your dream represents your own soul and self. Specific rooms in the house indicate a specific aspect of your psyche. In general, the attic represents your intellect, the basement represents the unconscious, etc. If the house is empty, then it indicates feelings of insecurity. If the house is shifting, then it suggests that you are going through some personal changes and changing your belief system. To dream that a house has no walls represents a lack of privacy. You feel that everyone is looking over your shoulder or up in your business. If you live with others in your walking life, but dream that you are living alone suggests that you need to take new steps toward independence. You need to accept responsibilities and be more self-reliant. If you are locked out of the house, then it represents rejection and insecurity. You feel you are being left behind.
To dream that you are cleaning your house signifies your need to clear out your thoughts and get rid of old ways. You are seeking self-improvement. To see a new house in your dream indicates that you are entering into a new phase or new area in your life. You are becoming more emotionally mature. If you are locked out of the house, then it represents rejection and insecurity. You feel you are being left behind.
To dream that your house is broken into suggests that you are feeling violated. It may refer to a particular relationship or current situation in your life. Alternatively, it indicates that some unconscious material is attempting to make itself known. There are some aspects of yourself that you have denied. To dream that a house has disappeared indicates that you are not feeling grounded. You feel uprooted by a particular circumstance or relationship in your life. To dream that you are inside a stranger's house indicates that there is something that you have yet to discover about yourself. It may mean that there are repressed memories, fears or emotions that you are not confronting.

To dream that your house is damaged indicates your waking concerns about the condition of your house.
Pregnant
To dream that you are pregnant symbolizes an aspect of yourself or some aspect of your personal life that is growing and developing. You may not be ready to talk about it or act on it. Being pregnant in your dream may also represent the birth of a new idea, direction, project or goal. Alternatively, if you are trying to get pregnant, then the dream may be a wish fulfillment. If you are not trying to get pregnant, but dream that you are, then it symbolizes fear of new responsibilities.
To dream that you are pregnant with the baby dying inside of you suggests that a project you had put a lot of effort into is falling apart and slowly deteriorating. Nothing is working out the way you had anticipated.
To dream that someone else is pregnant indicates that you are experiencing a closer connection to this person.
If you are really pregnant and have this dream, then it represents your anxieties about the pregnancy. If you are in your first trimester of pregnancy, then your dreams tend to be about tiny creatures, fuzzy animals, flowers, fruit and water. In the second trimester, dreams will reflect anxieties about being a good mother and concerns about possible complications with the birth. Dreams of giving birth to a non-human baby are also common during this period of the pregnancy. Finally, in the third trimester, dreams consists of your own mother. As your body changes and grows, dreams of whales, elephants and dinosaurs and other larger animals may also start appearing at this stage of pregnancy. *Please see also Birth. I have now 4 CVs sent to the same company (in four different departments) Do you think I am a bit overdoing it? Surely one of these roles should suit me? Anyways I have one CV with another company and will send one to another tonight.

MG - you may have a slight temperature, particularly as body temperature is difficult to regulate at night, and fever dreams do tend to be very vivid (trust me, after two weeks of wierd and wonderful dreams, I know
)
ETA - Marru - any idea about what a dream about a kitchen with a special fridge just for chocolate might be about
Better get back to working out flights... by the time my work laptop had started up, my inspiration for writing had wandered off somewhere else...0 -
Morning!
Just popping in to say hi, I am also feeling much perkier after a better night's sleep (keep waking up far too early, then being too tired to really concentrate on things). Sleep is great! Glad you also managed a reasonable amount Greenbee, really hope you can fight the germs off soon, it is so miserable being so ill.
Glad things are under control Hopeful!
And MG, you never know, I am somewhat older than you and pregnant (can feel baby wriggling as I type), and that part was as easy as the proverbial falling off a log. It's the next couple of years that are going to be difficult, if this one is like DD!0 -
Thanks Marru - so I am growing up at last:beer: And this is a house definitely "pregnant" with ideas at the moment
DS1 has even proposed that he starts a blog - he has a clear plan and actually its quite a good idea after Seth Godins manifesto yesterday. I am a proud Mama, that he is thinking how best to prepare himself for a new economy and how to earn enough money to put himself through Uni.
And trog - I have had on child and the father left, had one child where the father was never there ................ should I try and do it right the third time??? :rotfl::rotfl: How is the pregancy going BTW - hope you are resting enough?

So tired I could cry, after another night of OH sleeping in the middle of the bed, bashing me with pillows and snoring. I'm working all day and then an overnight, then have a few hours to kip tomorrow before more work and then 10pm Weds I can crash in a heap!
Could I ask for some positive vibes for getting through the next couple of days please?

Wake him up and tell him to move over... it's half your bed too
I did that a lot (wonder if that's why I'm single now...!)
Good luck for the next few hours x0 -
Thanks MG, so far so good! Not sure about you doing it 'right' the third time - wouldn't want the two boys to feel that they were not 'right', IYSWIM. And from your descriptions of them they sound very 'right'!
Gemmzie can you get a bigger bed? Or separate beds? Seriously if you are planning to get married this is something that needs to be sorted out.0
