    well Dh still ironing :)

I have a cherry cake in the oven ( bought a few of the cake mixes from approved foods) they are great cause they only use water, so I can still make the boys treats if I have no money for eggs, I got the chocolate cupcake mix, the sponge mix a case of glace cherries, a soft bap mix and a banana and a chocolate desert mix.

Dinner coming along good in the Halogen, Need to get veg sorted. Then its cooking some baps for sarnies.

Just waiting for my reduced price turkey from L**l to finish defrosting - then it is oven bound. £4.99 for an 8 lb turkey - bargain. Rubber turkey and soup for the foreseeable here at MFinthree HQ.

But Brrrrr it is freezing cold here - was out taking photos of the disaster that is my garden - must get out and get busy when the soil defrosts as well. Got a plan - but its too darn chilly.

    TTFN lovely ladies

Wow - weird that there is a parallel MSE universe out there. Well done and thanks for so diligently reporting it.

Today I am hoping to finish tidying up my computer, ready for a reinstall. Almost everything is done now except for bookmarks (gulp). I must have about a million patchwork quilts bookmarked in here.

Got to finish my Springboard workbook too for the last day of the course tomorrow. What a fantastic investment it has been. Not always easy but hugely enlightening. Thanks Cherisong! Still, it will be nice to have one less commitment.

It is just the most glorious day today here. Blue skies and quiet calm. Makes me glad to be alive. Happy Sunday everyone!

My friend has a test this wed for a teacher's assistant job in a local school, and if she does well, she will be interviewed the next day. She doesn't know what kind of questions they may ask her.

All what Gemmzie says and confidentiality and dealing with parents :)

Well just finished my letter of application for a job I have a sneaky suspicion that the present incumbent has been earmarked for it :( But decided after much thinking that I had to go for it and reading the application I would give me a job!!:rotfl:
I am going to be so p!ssed if I dont get an interview

Just giving myself a little break ( and a piece of friendship cake made this morning!) and a mooch round the threads before I add a couple of things to my CV and let OH proof read it all :o

Feeling sorry for myself and have only just got up, as my cough got worse yesterday and I have a sore throat which has left me with no voice (that will be handy for work tomorrow). Can't stop coughing now which is driving me mad. Have been drinking fresh lemonade and fizzy water which help, but am out of pretty much all medication. And I haven't managed to do any of the preparation I needed to do for pancake day.

I think it'll be tomato soup, a soak in the bath and an early ight in the hope that I am miraculously better tomorrow.
