MG - The Matrix Re-wired

Hmm just trying out the newlook forum - it's a bit empty looking and all posts seem very separate and lonely:( but suppose we will all adjust.

Had hair changed back to brown, bought some bits and bobs to cheer me up (moisturiser, dark choccy and a magazine). Dh is out for the evening so I can properly get on with stuff - does anyone else find it much easier to do things when their oh is out or is it just me?

Oh yes! My ex worked away on a regular basis. When he was home I always felt like I needed to sit with him and be sociable, whereas normally i'd be pottering around getting jobs done! It also aggravated him when i kept walking past the telly

Thats me - OH is retired and he does the cooking! Never being on my own means l tend to keep him company - the housw was never the same when l started work and he retired :eek:

MG, while searching for something earlier I came across what seems to be a copy of MSE which has copied the MSE format, posts etc but has deleted the poster's IDs. See it here:

At least 2 of your diaries are on there and I thought you'd like to know especially as there is mention of the matrix etc in the posts. It's actually a bit creepy reading it.

ummmmm, have you seen the rest of the site? it is a rip off of MSE, they have taken all of it and just posted over there. There are more diaries on there! :mad: :eek:

I know what you mean. I reported it and then ignored it for a bit, then only after noseying around did I see the full extent of what has been stolen from us.
And to think I found it by fluke when looking for the name of a song I'd written the lyrics for on here. It claims to be "copyright 2009-2012" so it could have been doing this for 3 years!!

it's weird, doesn't tell you who owns the site, and the contact us is just a gmail address.... there must be a way to find out who owns teh url.

I have also reported it to abuse MSE team, they need to look into it as these forums belong to Martin, they are his copyright.

I looked to see who was on this evening, but none of the MSE guys seem to be. They have been emailed, but that is a slow process. I've a thread in the site suggestions board, but can't think what to do to their attention sooner.

I dont do twitter, but maybe someone could tweet to martin to read my thread and then they will see the link?

I don't do twitter, but I'm sure if we pass the word around the forum, it'll get back to someone who can deal with it. I can't believe how much time and effort someone would put into being so deceitful.

just PM Martin, Andrea, Ian, or one of the main bods, they will get back to you.

I have had Martin reply personally to a PM I sent him last year, so I do know he reads his PMs.

I'll tweet Martin now. Was trying to trace their registration, think I can get their IP. But looks like a front. Doesn't say who is behind it.
