Biscotti - mmmmm that's what I want to make this afternoon.

Hang on and I will pop the recipe up from the archive

    MG

Ok - two recipes posted up for you - Cranberry and Chocolate peanut biscotti. Now off to grab my apron - although hard biscuits and a numb mouth is probably not the smartest treat to bake today LOL

1cm is the story of my life too - it doesnt go far.

Today is signing on day what joy and I am seeing my personal advisor again, I wonder if he will give more evidence books because I have filled 2.5 of the things. He cannot say that I am not trying to find work - even the compliance officer from the JCP said how bad the situation was as there is loads of work for the 16-24 year olds but nothing for the more mature people like me.

I have done my washing up now - and the crockpot has been cleaned and dried and is being put to use. I am using the last of my passata (I avoided the bits on the side of the bottle that were going green:eek:) to make a tomato sauce so I have added some black pepper, italian seasoning and a few glugs of Worcester sauce and added the 20 meatballs picked up for 99p in Aldi yesterday. Dinner tonight will be meatballs in tomato sauce with tagliatelle - the passata was a free gift, the tagliatelle is from my store cupboard as were the herbs, pepper and sauce.

My living room is draped with knickers - (they are on the clothes horse) drying...:D
  • Sorry to butt in, I am back to lurking but a friend keeps nagging me for the biscotti recipe and I didn't write it down. I cant seem to find it on MG's blog.....:o can anyone help me out please?

Long time no see bitsy, hope things are OK xx

All this chat about 1cm - wonder if we have all dated the same bloke???

    Large, minted, record producer, drives a jag and a teeny-tiny (erm)expense account:rotfl::rotfl:

When I write my memoirs - I WILL be naming and shaming this one BTW. Especially when I caught the red light of a video camera sitting in the wardrobe and peeking through the crack in the door.

Still don't know who let down the tyres on his jag though;)

Looks like lurgies all round at present - I too have what is technically known as a stingkidcode

Mutual hugs to all in need
It doesn't matter if you are a glass half full or half empty sort of person. Keep it topped up! Cheers!

I could tell you a few stories about the music industry too MG considering I grew up in it surrounded by members of rock bands and other dodgy characters including Mrs Ozzy Osborne (a foul mouthed creature). The stories I could tell would make your hair curl:eek: Thankfully I was only a child and not old enough for shenanigans with wardrobes and video cameras:D

Hugs to those that need too - I am chomping on Vit C and Zinc so touch wood I haven't had anything this year.

Baking done - but the injection is wearing out of my gum - ouchie!!

Still an hour on the sofa with a hot water bottle and a cuddle from the little one should see me right.

Back when I can feel my bottom lip

<waves at TMIF> things are great thanks, have definately got the feeling of abundance going on lately :)

To top it all off I have a baby arriving tomorrow. No not human (we are drawing the line at two) but a fur baby in the form of a yellow Labrador puppy :j sod the kids being excited I am like this ---->:D
Gonna be lots of hard work but hoping the benefits outweigh the hard work. DS is significantly less stressed when he sleeps with us. This is not practical long term so we thought having a dog (when it's old enough) would be a good substitute :D

Have got requests to take puppy to DD's nursery class, into DS's class and to their old pre school to show the kids. I ought to start charging at this rate ;)

ETA thanks MG for adding the recipes.....off to write them out :)
