No snow here, cold and very wet. Good job really, I can't stand the stuff.
I have a whole day of housework - not very impressed but it's gotta be done, otherwise I'll have to live in mess for weeks on endNo longer using this account for new posts from 20130 -
We are south east and have 9 inches of snow in the back garden. It also annoys me when the radio presenters say 'don't go out unless your journey is necessary' as though we couldn't make that decision ourselves!OD [STRIKE] £2600 [/STRIKE] £0 :j Loan [STRIKE]£9500.00[/STRIKE] £0 :j Car [STRIKE]£3150[/STRIKE] £0 :j Moving Costs [STRIKE]£1300[/STRIKE] £0 :j Savings £1150 :j

That sounds like a really good plan. I've 'escaped' a marriage but am tied with the mortgage on our house which he is still in. I suspect it will cost me to sever the ties, so if you have the opportunity to protect yourself that's fab.
Over the last few days i've discovered how draughtly my lovely new house is! My mission before next winter will be to have lots of lovely heavy curtains and draught excluders for the downstairs door. Some of the doors could do with curtains too I think. It's times like this I wish I could be creative with a sewing machine
Hope everyone's safely inside and warm - get under those quilts Horace!
Hopeful - are there any charity shops near you? I have picked up some fabby curtains from my local one and I was in there again yesterday morning (before the snow arrived) and noticed that they have more curtains - thick lined ones as opposed to thin ones. Short curtains (to me standard size) seem to vary in cost between £6 and £7.50 in my local charity shop - longer curtains are more expensive but still cheaper than shop prices. The martial home is owned by him and probably mortgage free by now as it was bought for £17500 26 years' ago. I need warmth - this coldness is getting to my bones and I keep getting bouts of bronchitis which I never had before.
Tons of snow here - more to come judging by the colour of the sky. It must have warmed up a wee bit either that or the weight of snow was too much because my car has lost some of the snow covering. I am not going anywhere - I am staying put. I have some stew being cooked again in my slow cooker - I had some last night and seem think that it tastes better when cooked a second time. My French Fancies have been scoffed along with the tiny bag of jelly babies which cost me 10p (5 jelly babies in the bag). I might do something with my eating apples which are just sitting there - might slice them and cook them with oats and sugar in Mosky.
The job hunt continues - I am desperate for some temp work too and have been making plans for my business. Business Board Rooms seem to be the way to go at the mo and I know I am particularly good at them.I want to be off benefits and able to support myself because I hate being treated like a criminal when others who have no intention of working who breed like rabbits (no offence meant to any single mothers here) get treated like queens and have hand out after hand out. Even if it is just a little job that pays me something I don't care because I need to get moving and then I can run the business at the same time.0 -
Hello, better day here all around. BF cooked lovely bangers and mash last night and today there is going to be steak on the menu. We do need to pop into Mr T for some supplies that are not regularly on the list. Also I am going to get some clothes to DD and using my vouchers. I can't wait for their double value vouchers for clothes offer that they normally have around new school year.
And woohoo, Crufts is only a month away. It is quarter end at work but you know what, stuff it!!! I am going to book that Friday off and go on Friday and Saturday (gundogs and pastoral) :j Now if I could get my website in some kind of order by then I could promote it there (non profit so shouldn't break any rules by doing that). BF asked if I can afford it but to be honest I rather eat beans on toast for a month than miss Crufts.
Tonight watching Time Travellers Wife while keeping eye on the election results. I.e. sitting on the sofa with cup of tea and laptop on the lap with live results. Very exciting.Oh and exam results are due in one week

Strangely, I'm in the mood to bake, first attempt at gluten free cake - wish me luck!
Didn't want to double post - we have LOADS of porridge oats that won't get eaten as porridge. What can I do with them? Has to be as low calorie as possible too!No longer using this account for new posts from 20130 -
