    Morning!

Oh how annoying - the little charger connector inside my mobile has snapped off. It's 21 months old, and the email that I am due for an upgrade arrived this week... but I was thinking that I might not bother... I quite like paying £15 a month :)

Ho hum, into town I go for a new phone... what shall I get ;)

I also thought about going to a craft show in Exeter today.... I still might, but I'd have to buy some petrol, and I am trying to force myself to use the bus this month due to holiday creditcard bill looming!

Sorry people are having a poop time... <<<hugs>>>

We're waitng to be told which people's jobs are at risk of redundancy at work. Agree that these are scary times :( Must keep loooking forward, and not let the uncertainty spoil things :)

    Enjoy Saturday all xx

Won't the "upgrade" you just upgrade your phone and not your tarriff ??

Blimey you don't do things by halves do you! congratulations :)

Been not very mse and got us all lunchboxes from Morrisons as can't face the thought of cooking (everything smells strange with this cold) so at least I am eating a healthy chicken salad instead of the biscuits and birthday chocs I was contemplating.

    You'd think!

If I want to stay on my current (cheap) tarriff of £15 then the nice phones (such as the gorgeous Samsung Galaxy II or the new iPhone) are about £4-500... gulp!

I could get a £30-40 one and after 6 months they let you drop down to a lower priced tarriff. Time to get the spreadsheet out lol

omg! who are you with Orange? vodafone?

call them up and tell them you are leaving as you can get a better deal with t-mobile for the phone you want. See if they offer you a better package ;) I did it with DH, he got £36 per month bill down to £11!!!!!

I'm with Orange - previously had no choice due to network issues - although I believe they've "merged" with t-mobile now so I have more options :)

I will definitely find the best deal I can - I know Orange price match, but I didn't know that if you threatened to leave they would knock that much off.

    Absolutely something to do :D

    Thanks for that idea!!!

I will report back on my successes!

we are with t-mobile but hey retention is retention ;) always worth haggling! even though they piggyback off t-mobiles signal, you can threaten to go to them.
