Happy belated birthday Clairewop's DS1, yum to Chinese! We had Wa1trose Indian takeaway last night to celebrate the house stuff, I know, not very MSE, but sometimes it's hard for me to cook meat for OH then veggie for us, I just fancied a bit treat :)

DD and I went for a walk around the village and explored some new to us footpaths near our new house and had a peek through the windows, all very exciting :)

I packed a couple more suitcases with clothes that either don't fit yet (again ;) ) or won't be worn in the next few weeks. The spare room is becoming packing central, shame it still has my 'office cupboard' full of tut and DD's bookcase and desk, so a bit of a juggling act! I'm hoping to be given permission to put stuff in the garage at the new place between exchange and completion so that my dad has less to do on moving day, so the more I can pack and hopefully lug there myself, the better.

Time to go and take my now chilly body back to bed and torment OH as he's going to be all snuggly under 2 duvets until I clamber in with cold toes and fingers (cue evil cackle :) )

News headlines - freezing temperatures and snow in winter - would you believe it! Now if it was June it might justify the coverage. Sorry obviously having a cynical Sunday:o Seriously though......... report the weather in the weather bulletin then people have the information but to make it the lead story? I am beginning to get fed up with it.
Be the change you want to see -with apologies to Gandhi :o

Its soo annoying, since yesterday afternoon there has been no buses running, no taxis etc you would think the world stops for a few inches of snow!!
  • Ahhh you lot need to come and live down south... it's not even cold here ;)

It's very weird to see the world in white, pretty from a distance, pain in the butt when it's happening to you. x

Arrrgghhh! My phone is very flitty this morning. I've just had a message thanking me for reporting a spam post. I didn't mean it! I don't even know which post it was so I apologise, though there shouldn't be a response.....i hope! My fingers are just too chunky!

Panic over just found post and 'unspammed' it. Sorry!
One step at a time ;)

No snow here - apparently it is all around us but we still have just the icy wet stuff. We have even disappeared from the weather map as the west is now Ireland, then they move straight over us to the east coast. We have no weather so we don't get any mention.

Dh is taking kids out today so I can loll around for a bit feeling sorry for myself.

I do that by mistake too on my phone Hopeful. It has been reported on the MSE problems thread that MSE by mobile is not 100% friendly and there are glitches, ie thanking a post, makes it "thank you for reporting it as spam"

Morning all. Well I had my tooth out last week, the one that was hurting, have appointment on Friday for other tooth, needs root canal, and last night, at a party for DS's friend, bit into a cheese sandwich, and that tooth broke too!

I cannot afford all this dental treatment  I need a new job desperately!

Would prefer to work from home, but cannot see myself getting off the ground as a virtual secretary. No storage space for filing confidential contracts, etc, I cannot get into the loft, have to rely on DH. No room for proper loft ladders. He is fed up with my clutter as it is. So need something else that lets me work from home or home based without need for lots of paperwork.

Universe, am crying out for inspiration now.

Snow here, but melting already. How far south are you tellmeitsfriday? Am on outskirts of London.
