I'm starting to get stomach ache so going to try some rice noodles, they are normally my go to but very hard to find.
I saw an NHS one but she was fairly useless, first appointment she told me to come back with a food diary next time and I already had one that covered six weeks as requested by my GP. So next appointment she went through it and said it looked fine but limited. I should probably find a decent private one but can't afford it at all...
Keep an eye out for useful stuff on Approved Food.0 -
Gemmzie Try asking at your GP surgery to see if you can see a Health Trainer - they help with nutrition. I am seeing one because I have put on weight but I also have a problem with food as I can go for days without eating because I cannot be arrissed and I don't feel hungry. Yes, you will have to keep a food diary but then they should be able to help you.
The thing with these medical types is to keep asking questions - it is all well and good saying that your diet is fine but limited but you need to ask how it can be improved.0 -
Thank you for your good wishes. DD was interviewed while I was waiting outside. I have appointment with them on Friday so will find out more then.

I can speak Danish....Bacon!!:rotfl:
Well I never, I have just been phoned by a highly regarded employment agency in Birmingham who have seen my details on Caterer the upshot is that I have been invited to interview with them on Wednesday morning at 10am (a trip to town is in order) because they have a couple of Event jobs in Birmingham hotels that they want to put me forward for although the salary is only £14-16K - any salary sounds good to me at the moment and a salary will relieve stress and I can start saving - you don't know how frugal I can be:rotfl:
Need to update my CV again now and include my ad hoc waitressing job that I had when I was at school - do I include the time spent on a Kibbutz in Israel too? Such an adventure for a 16yr old - buying earrings on a greek island and then pitching up in Jerusalem and selling them for the double what I paid for them:cool:0 -
Popping in I really need to read back and catch up after not posting for a few days and theres loads to catch up on
Hope all is wellx

Oooh - I might be tempted to go there except my school Swedish doesn't go far in Denmark. I sent an email to the previous accountant who is native so should get sorted. Ummm - does he cook?

Now I am going to put the wee one to bed and take my kindle off for a snuggle as I am freezing (not that it's cold in here but I have that " will never be warm again feeling" IYSWIM)
