Thanks Horace - I think * insert looking ill smiley - where have they gone?*

TBH I am more concerned about the benign brain tumour I have - as long as it stays small and stays put then all will be well:)

Dare not think what might be found following next week CT scan:o

Igamogam - I had my gall bladder removed and it was the best thing I have ever done. The pain was terrible when it came, and I do seem to be one of the lucky ones in that it didn't affect my diet at all and there isn't anything I have had to give up because of the removal. I have heard other people cannot eat certain foods, but for me it all seems ok.

Left my daughter at hospital for her second week. I so hope it gives her some help. So far it has shot her pain levels through the roof. As a parent, what do you do? It is heartbreaking and I wish it was me rather than a 24 year old having to use an electric wheelchair. She is an incredibly positive girl, always willing to help other people and spent the weekend resourcing help for a couple of the people on the ward who she had been talking to. For one of them it was help and activities she could attend in her local area and for the other it was to advise her she could get more benefits than she is currently getting. I am so proud of her that she spent her weekend doing that, when she could just have collapsed in bed!

Broadband speed has been almost doubled by the removal of several unnecessary metres of telephone cable, so there is now a shorter distance between the master socket and router (about 20cm), and the cabling from the router is all cat 5e (so we don't have to rely on wireless for work). VOIP call quality if phenomenally better :)

New wardrobe has been partly constructed. We are waiting for ikea to send out the missing bits to hold the internal shelf up with before we put the doors on. So that will be done later this week (I think OH has got over his tantrum at the beginning of the week and will be coming over on Thursday to a. help finish off the shelves/wardrobe and b. come to hospital with me, but we'll see, and take things slowly - we went out to lunch and had a sensible discussion), and once that's done I will have no excuse not to be organised :p

Haven't got much work done though...

    Showing your age lovley!!!

Shall I counter with "I don't like Monday's" Boomtown Rats

    MG
And I trump you with 'Monday, Monday' by Neil Diamond.
But how can you know what you want till you get what you want and you see if you like it?

A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort
