Good luck MG, the blog layout is looking great.

Back to the real world with a bump for me after our fantastic conference last week! It was a great success and the feedback we have got is so positive. The delegates even clubbed together to buy us a bottle of wine each to say thanks, which was really touching. We even have some spare money, so we were thinking of organising a workshop later in the year. :)

Then Monday was the 3rd day of my Springboard course. It was on goal-setting and assertiveness. The assertiveness stuff was so interesting. We learned a few different techniques. It turns out my natural behaviour, actions and voice all come down on the "casual" side. I like that in some ways, but it's good to know I can be firmer in my presentation too.

However all these (very positive) shenanigans have only left me a week and a half to write a whole chapter draft  I am not sure if that's possible - better get cracking. Wish me luck!!

Hope you enjoyed Shred MG :p I managed to go out for my walk. I've had breakfast, stripped the bed, taken the clean laundry out of the airing cupboard and put it on the bed and talked to OH. I need to get some washing on and have a shower to warm up, and then, like MG and Lara need to get down to some writing...

Lara - I have until midnight to get a paper out, and it needs restructuring, some sections expanding, and all the evidence sorting out!

Looks like we have a bit of a writing challenge this week...

when I try and log in on MFi3 it's still coming up as not there - am I missing something as other people seem to be able to see things?
It doesn't matter if you are a glass half full or half empty sort of person. Keep it topped up! Cheers!

Another one with CBA'd syndrom. All I feel like doing is reading a novel. At the same time, there is so much to do.

Maybe we should stop trying FW. I blame the weather.

I might go and do some housework and hope that the writing is more productive this evening.
  • Yup - CBA'ds here too!!!

Mine is not the weather though, mine is impending holiday....!

Me too CBA, made blueberry pancakes for breakfast instead of writing.

Greenbee, we are definitely on the writing challenge this week! Good luck for your paper later :)

ETA: Blue Wednesday :D My Monday was great :rotfl:

Oh can I join the CBA group. Having a right grim day and have just shouted so much at DS1 that I thought I was going to be physically sick. It's 7 years today since my Dad died and I've hit sobbing stage now. Really not like me at all :(
