Its baked potatoes with any left over veg and meat mashed in to the potato and cheese on top
Phew!
Bit like my brothers favourite childhood dish of 'dinosaurs in blood' - a cornish pastie sitting in a bowl of tomato soup. He like, it nobody else did!
In our household we have something called 'bashed chicken' which is a recipe from Economy Gastronomy- now adapted to our taste - which is basically chicken breasts bashed flat with a rolling pin a rolled in bread crumbs and fried. Much better and cheaper than any fast food varietyBe the change you want to see -with apologies to Gandhi

Not normally a fan of flapjacky things - find they are too crumbly and taste, well too "worthy" IYSWIM. But today we are trialling a recipe that has lots of seeds and two mashed banana's in them.
They are out cooling and smell gorgeous - I will force feed the kids that are hovering around them and report back later

Rebooting me today - [STRIKE][STRIKE]church, cleaning, friend coming with cakes, maybe walk round park, tea,[/STRIKE] dishes,[/STRIKE] only the absolutely necessary school work, physio, book and bed. Sorted.
Slowly slowly getting there...definitely more tortoise than hare atm. Head also full of holiday ideas - going on Monday 13th Feb once dh has confirmed days off, coming back on Friday 17th Feb - just got to work out where now. Big THANKS to everyone for their ideas.
NE - done quite a bit but never did Beamish
York - camped and did it year before last
Scotland - have done Edinburgh with dd but not ds so a possibility
Lakes - have done quite a lot cos friend had a cottage up there but has now got tenants in it
London - a possibility as dd is Doctor Who mad and we have relatives down there who we could see as well (and we like a particular premier inn down there)
Wales - also a possibility as it is so close and there are lots of visity places - although I think a lot of wales is outdoorsy stuff so not that good for cold blooded ds in Feb.
Also a possibility is to actually DO Liverpool, stay in a hotel for a couple of nights with B&B and a pool, do all the museums and go out to eat at night for a couple of nights - we usually have to rush home for one thing or another. Would go in by train with suitcases to make it a 'real' holiday and have to pack cosies for the pool (would appeal to dd's sense of humour)Mortgage £119,533 going down slowly

Thick frost again this morning, and I have to drag myself out of my nice warm bed in a minute to get stuff ready for the wiring being done, have breakfast and go out to meet a friend for an 8am walk. I'd rather stay in bed, even if my hot water bottles are starting to cool down!0

Just getting ready to take my daughter back to hospital. As she doesn't have to be there as early as she did last Monday, we decided not to go up on Sunday and stay at a hotel. They are not the most comfortable hotels and it meant we had our Sunday at home, slept in our own beds and ate our own food. We lost the price of the hotel as it is non refundable, but at only £12 I wasn't too concerned especially as we saved £10 not having to pay the lady to come and feed our cat, and also saved on not having to buy an evening meal and breakfast as well.
Hope you all have a good day......OD [STRIKE] £2600 [/STRIKE] £0 :j Loan [STRIKE]£9500.00[/STRIKE] £0 :j Car [STRIKE]£3150[/STRIKE] £0 :j Moving Costs [STRIKE]£1300[/STRIKE] £0 :j Savings £1150 :j

It's minus 6C here, brrrrr. Be careful out there everyone. If you have a talent, use it in every which way possible. Don't hoard it. Don't dole it out like a miser. Spend it lavishly like a millionaire intent on going broke.

Give her out thoughts for this week - I know she has a slog ahead of her to find some balance and relief but I think she is bloody brave even giving it a try.
It is perishing here - have even put the heating on - I know, I know.
But I woke up this morning to find MrF has been a techie Angel overnight so after packing my lunch and exercising - the Blog is in my sights (and hopefully my capabilities)
Off to feed some chilly boys
