    Morning everyone :)

I hope everyone is okay, it seems lots of people are needing hugs at the moment so :grouphug: if they are needed

Strange day today. I am off to a small ceremony where my Grandad's ashes are going to be interred. It is only close family and I don't think it will be sad like the funeral so in a strange way I am looking forwards to it especially as I can support my grandma who is doing very well. Anyway dd and I are both going and we are having lunch there so it will take up most of the day.

Oh is away tonight and so it is just me and the kids and I have promised ds his favourite meal - toad in the hole. I too have kind of unintentionally lost weight over the last few weeks so I will enjoy it guilt free tonight.

Have a lovely day everyone :)

    Good Morning All

Just sitting here with cup of coffee as needed to check bank online as I need to get some cash out today. Hate January both OH and myself have large tax bills to pay and typically the clients are paying late at the moment.

College this morning and will also run some errands while in town. Posh coffee at coffee shop is definately called for today. Feels really cold today too.

This afternoon will be more paperwork and this evening will be ironing. If OH doesnt cook shepherds pie tonight then will make crispy chicken wraps.

Best get off need to unload dishwasher and clean kitchen.

    Enjoy your days.

    morning :hello:

Uni day today but doing a presentation so only need to go in for the afternoon, it's for 15% of my mark for this module but it's on a condition that I treat so I'm not too nervous,

fed the dog, fed the cat, kids eating their breakfast so havving a cuppa and then going to do a few tweaks on the presentation,

dinner will be bolognese, last few times we've had it there has only been one portion left but I've frozen it anyway and now have enough for a free meal :D

have a good day all

  • Morning all :D

Well I went on my work thing last night and it was OK (but I did wish I was at home) anyway, afterwards had to dash off to get a shop to replace our DVD player again  Third time in 3 months

Apart from that hopefully now back on track for the rest of the week. Plans for this evening are go home, start the college stuff I've been putting off, finish the ironing and have a nice bath and bed as we're all having w**k pictures done tomorrow

Think that's about it for now, off to catch up on yesterdays thread.

As always take or leave the :grouphug: as needed.

    Morning all

Hugs to Kethry and ageandjo and anyone else who wants one.

It's really cold out there this morning so I am trying to decide whether I really need to go out today or not. I was planning on doing the charity shops as I really could do with a couple of jumpers, I've hit that stage where I've had most of my clothes for years and my wardrobe is starting to look a little shabby :( Must start thinking about myself a little more. LOL I say that all the time and it never happens!

  • Morning all,

Have a banging headache and slept badly. Have my diabetic check-up this morning so I don't want to take any paracetemol just in case he takes a blood test to do various tests. I believe painkillers can throw out your liver function test so I don't want to take that chance as it's really inconvenient having to go for another test.

Anyway, must go as I'm badly organised today. (I think it's all down to Most Haunted. Watched it on FTN last night and it was the scariest one ever. Poor Stuart seemed to get a beating from some very malevolent spirits. I normally watch this just to have a good laugh at Yvette Fielding screaming at the slightest noise but Stuart is a down-to-earth guy so I was upset for him last night. Hence the bad night's sleep.)

Hope the day is good to you . xx

Pay day - wooohoooo, which also means takeaway night, it's our reward for not spending money during the month. Have updated the budget for Feb, moved some money into my savings account, thought I'd save the money that I don't spend on petrol due to car sharing into savings to help pay for things like insurance etc.

Can't get hold of the guy I car share with, so I have no idea whether or not I need to pick him up this morning !

Have a good day all, need to go and make lunch to take to work
