((((hugs)))) a plenty for all who need them this morning.
I missed out on yesterdays thread, running around like a nutter.
Finally took dd3 to the doctors yesterday as her earache had turned into a headache and stomach ache, sore throat etc. Feel really wicked for leaving it for almost a week, she has a throat and ear infection and on antibiotics.
Poor child was scared to walk into doctors, as I don't remember the last time she went. Anyhow it means I have a day (sort of) off work, just doing paperwork at home, thanks to her - how nice to be able to catch up with the housework and more importantly, this thread!
Anyway will get off now, hope Kethry has been able to get off to sleep for a little longer - what a start to her day!
Have a good wednesday everyone! xxBBxxIf you don't have something nice to say don't bother saying anything at all.0 -

Aaaaargh my email address is not working  I cancelled my old dialup account with Orange (ex Freeserve) recently, and they specifically told me that my email address would not be affected as I would just revert to being a "pay as you go" customer. However it would appear that because I haven't actually USED the dialup number for PAYG for over 90 days, my email has been suspended  The customer service lady says she has reactivated it, but it's currently still not working (she said to give it 20 minutes and try again) - and apparently I need to dial up at least once every 90 days to keep it working! This seems very odd as I sign into my email account on their website often enough, so they can see I'm still an active user... I don't even HAVE a working dialup modem so won't be able to do the "token sign-in" once every 90 days, and it looks like I will need to find a new email address sometime soon, even when they get it going again! I must have literally thousands of things registered with this email address...
AAAAAAAAAAAArgh.
Must go and get sorted
Rzl xx
I regularly have the same problem as the main e-mail address is my husbands and mine is on a pay as you go but since I don't use that to dial up ...we have broadband ...the system thinks I haven't used it. To reactivate my account I have to go on the main orange [old freeserve ] site. In a box labeled Your Account there is a link called 'restore internet account' . Click it and you will get a page that has a section called 'suspended Dial-up Pay As You Go account' and a button labelled 'retrieve account'. Click thatand you will get a page that has 'anytime' and 'pay as you go' buttons. Click the appropriate and you will get a page where you put in your e-mail address and password. After that your account will be activated and you should be able to access e-mail again.
Hope that helpsWe don't need to do it perfectly - good enough is exactly that GOOD ENOUGH.0 -
Thanks vivw! :T
It's working again now after restoring it by phone but it seemed like a real hassle to have to phone up every 90 days... doing it online seems a lot more manageable and I didn't know it was possible!
Cheers, you are an :AOperation Get in Shape

Morning all,
Hugs to all who need them - there's something about the end of January - even though it was my birthday yesterday, it never seems that exciting. We've run out of oil, so the house is freezing. They are going to deliver today - first offer was Friday but I offered to take my custom elsewhere so surprise, surprise - they found a slot today.
Monthly shop from Tesco arriving this morning so I need to tidy up first.
Packed lunches: cheese and ham sandwiches, More with Less sunflower seeds, apple and lemon squash
Dinner: Roast turkey leg (£2.75 in the butchers for a huge leg), gravy, jacket potatoes, veg.
I have to go to cubs tonight as dh is away so I need to plan an activity to do with them. We were in England over the weekend, then Beavers and cookery club last night, cubs tonight, a school choir concert on Thurs - I really would love just to have a night in....
Might make some cheaty marmelade today to cheer me up - lemon Mamade with a can of pineapple added - last year's was the orange one with a tin of grapefruit added and was lovely so I thought I'd try the lemon. We still have loads of proper Seville from 2005 so I'm taking the easy option this year:D
