Hello all!
How are we?
((hugs)) for those who need them, want them, etc!
Found out I might have just 1 more week at this school... have figured out in the budget that I can still afford my dishwasher and next months bills, it's just sorting out what to do after half term that is the dilemma!
Have also started on my 'to do' list for the half term, including starting work on the 'spare room of doom'... I'm pretty sure that most of its contents will be winging their way to a charity shop and/or Freecycle, and some on Ebay too. Also need to get cracking on my website, sort the hosting out (already have domain name) and make some more pieces to sell.
Had my first counselling session last night, will be going there every Tuesday evening now at the same time. The lady doing it is lovely, although you can only have about 6 free sessions, which worries me incase I need more!
Doing an easy dinner tonight, Tacos. Have loads of bits to use up in the cupboard, but when I'm working full time as I am now, I can barely manage to pour a glass of wine or make a cup of tea when I get home!! OH made pizza last night so I guess it's my turn tonight!!
Had better get my rear off of this chair now and skedaddle over to my next class- am covering right over the other side of the school, usually I stay in one or two rooms which is nice because I struggle with walking very often, but I don't see the rest of the school I guess. Glad I'm having a 'good' health day, that's all I can say!
Much love x

Hi Yall, the weatherman tells me it's mild here but I feel dash cold. I've got the heating chugging away against my better judgement cos I'm spending a small fortune in gas at the mo.
Well it's official, we are getting one of those big but not too big casinos, I don't know if it's a good thing or notwith that and the Star of the East 'landmark' currently being thrown up we are certainly being put on the map. Just need to get the wheelie bin collections sorted and we shall be in paradise:D LOL
Paid2clicks, cleaning and cooking all done. Mrs MATH is out tonight so the kidz and I will have something junky from the bottom of the freezer and an Apple Strudle which was on bogof in Tesco last week.
I've made an appointment for Miss MATH to get her haircut cos it is too long to nit comb and for her to dry each morning, just got to decide on the style now. She keeps Googling for ideas and coming up with 'do's' that would take Trevor Sobet a couple of hours to create. I'm thinking or a centre parted (which she likes) below jawline long bob at the front, graduated to the nap of the neck at the back. She has blonde highlights at the mo so it would be blond at the front and her natural chestnut at the back. Do you OS'rs think this would suit a fine haired 10 year old with attitude?
PP You are deffo addictted to mince/mash baked goods :rotfl: Hope you feel better soon
kethry we lived in a similar sounding area when we were first married and we didn't realise how much our sleep was affected until we moved to somewhere deathly quiet. We had to sleep with the landing light on for a few weeks until we got used to no street lights or noise. LOL
My washer has just buzzed me to add condition so I had better scoot. I want to go and have a butchers at Twink yet! Hugs to all
ended up with grounding them and threatened withdrawl of DS2s pocket money, also have a job getting them in the shower:mad: any tips for how to motivate 2 teenage boys welcome!
I found banning their favourite TV programs together with the grounding worked wonders at our house it was WWF (now called different)at the time and the added bonus was I didnt have to listen to it!.
Also bedtime used to go backwards twice as much as the time difference from official get up time until actual get up time, so in this case 55 mins x 2 so he had to go to bed 1 hour and 50 minutes earlier than official bedtime and no TV/Music once in bed!
Only had to do it the once though as afterwards the thread of a kept promise was enough!:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:Member #8 of the SKI-ers Club
I really could do with a couple of jumpers, I've hit that stage where I've had most of my clothes for years and my wardrobe is starting to look a little shabbyMust start thinking about myself a little more. LOL I say that all the time and it never happens!
I get my jumpers from Tesco, they wash and wear well and are very reasonable.

DD has that exact hairstyle MATH and she is 12. It looks pretty cool and is easy to look after. She also had some more highlights put in last night by OH:eek:   ...she looks so grown up:rolleyes: ...and she has loads of attitude;)

Afternoon all
I've done absolutely nothing so far, however plans for the immediate future are to get dinner in the SC, tidy around the whole flat, tackle my Hotspots (dining table, bedroom floor), and clean the study. Then have a washload to put away and a white wash to go in, and that huge pile of ironing...
That's my OS for the day!! Also need to make a start on some uni work, think I will do some "twentieth century fiction" seminar prep, and read at least one novel today, then all I will have to do for the rest of the week is read another 2 books before Tuesday, and then can work a bit on my dissertation (currently printing from a Microfiche machine which is VERY boring and takes 2hrs per slide. I have so far printed 1 slide of 10 that need doing  and then I need to read what I have printed and write a synopsis of what happens!!)
Anyway, best get my bum moving
Have a good day

Afternoon all
Feeling better today, managed to get up at 7.30am and make an early start on the housework. DD still isn't well, taking her to doctors at 4pm cos shes got a really chesty cough and all nasty stuff on her tongue - shes going mad at me for not letting her go to school (apparantly its the greatest place on earth!)
Been to Asda to do the shopping this morning, got 3 pks of mince reduced from £2.19 to £1.20 each so am going to make lasagne for tea and freeze the rest for chilli/bolognese. Also came well under budget for this week's food so treated myself to a bottle of wine and magazine
Got a couple of great dishes too - they're Pyrex ones for the oven but they come with plastic tuppaware lids so i can make lasagne/shepherds pie and then put the lids on and pop them in the freezer when cool. They were £2 each.
B - Tea, toast, orange juice
D - Homemade mushroom soup, bread roll, yoghurt
T - Lasagne, garlic bread and salad
Have a good day all
