***NEW PROBLEM ... URGENT***
I am at work and have realised that I have a direct debit that is due to come out of my account tomorrow and the funds aren't in my Citibank account.
I remember reading that I can pay cash into my account at a high street branch.
Am I correct in thinking that I read this? If so what bank was it?
Many thanks.
They charge £25 for a returned DD, I know it happened to me when I started new job and didn't get my wages when I was supposed to.0 -
thats abit like everything is cheaper in the states than here, cos in IR (ireland) they are only allowed to charge you £12.95 for a return charge, and that was issued by the courts over there, so it looks like england is not the place to live if you want cheap living, like over seas,
why do so many people want to come here to live when its so expensive, or are they still under the impression that the streets are all lined with gold,

I wonder!

signed up to google-checkout (googles paypal) and had no problems at all with my citi card, also to save money, at www.ebuyer.com if you go through google-checkout you get £10 discount, I earned myself £30 yesterday, but if I had thought it through I could have actually earned £70 all you have to do is sign up to google-checkout, order something off ebuyer (orders have to be £30 or over) then go to checkout, go to super saver for shipping and handling, then click on google-checkout, sign-in and hey presto you have earned yourself a tenner, happy shopping,cw
:jI dont know if you get £10 off any other sites, also offer is on until 11th june.

Just a little bit of advice here,
I opened my account back in January this year and as yet I have still not got my payment from Quidco, I did get the £1.00 and Quidco where quick to advise I would get the other £49 later. Still nothing to date so I emailed Quidco to ask why this was the case and got this reply-Hi Marcellep,
It doesn't look like your transaction for Citibank will update as we'd
expected it to. Could you please send to us your full name and address
as on the account so we can send it on to be investigated for you?
My apologies, it looks like your HMV enquiry was incorrectly marked as
processed, I've now marked it as Ready to Send and will go out with the
next that get sent to the merchant.
Kind regards,
Andrina
So anyone waiting on the £49 it's worth messaging them
Hope that helpsIf I have been helpful - Hit the Thanks button0 -

A bit late to be replying I know, But I had a DD come out of my account and my balance wasn't enough to cover it (it's happened twice now). But if you have any money in a Savings Account with Citibank they automatically transfer enough over to your current account to cover the payment, Leaving your balance at 0.00
I thought this was a pretty nice idea of theirs as it saves you the unpaid DD fee.

Is it true that Citibank debit card can't be swiped?
I know in Carphone Warehouse, if you're buying a PAYG phone on your card, they swipe your card to see if it's been used at Carphone Warehouse before to 'help prevent fraud' so they say. So if I use my card today in CPW, they won't be able to skim it?
It's still chip&pin for the actual payment.0 -
I have sent an earnings enquiry via Quidco and it has been sent to the merchant.0
