  • Yay, the lovely Citibank have messaged me back about using the card in the US, they advised me to transfer my money to my US dollar account and then ask them to switch it just before I leave, they said they actually need about 10 days notice from customers before they travel in order to put the adequate security measures in place for you.

Happy bunny now, faith in Citi restored!

Pls be nice to all MSer's
There's no such thing as a stupid question, and even if you disagree courtesy helps.
Tomorrow never come's as today is yesterday and tomorrow is today:confused:

I'm still not happy - i'm in Hong Kong at the moment, and I can't get any money out of the ATM using my debit card - Citibank say they aren't receiving the request from the ATM - what a load of rubbish!

  • Hi everyone! My cheque for £1 has cleared my bank today.....might I assume that they have agreed to open the account? I havent received anything for well over ten days....since they sent me the ID back. Hopefully a letter will arrive tomorrow?

normally when you are declined your cheque is sometimes sent back to you, they kept my sons cheque and he was declined so we assume they shredded it,
as it has never been cashed, only £1.00,
so I would assume that you have the account, and that you should get your card and 3 pins any day now,
    hope this helps,
