I have used mines today three times so far and no problems to report.
When I was in Tesco, I mentioned the problems I had and the girl said alot of cards have where declined yesterday and they think its something to do with the volume of transactions being put throught.
Anyway I am happy again :beer:If I have been helpful - Hit the Thanks button0 -

Mine worked fine today In B & Q and buying Diesel at Tesco. I did try to Pay @ Pump, out of habit more than anything (I normally pay with my Tesco Clubcard Plus) but as usual it spits it out and states "card not valid", But worked fine in the kiosk. Tried to use my card to pay for £1.80 odd in M&S yesterday and it didn't want to know.. Most embarrasing!!
Getting a bit tired of the the randomness of their Card authorising.... and having to abandon buying anything in stores that don't have Chip & Pin. I'm wondering if I should just go back to my Halifax account and use my PrePaid card for places that don't take electron, I'm getting that fed up with it!!

I applied for a Citibank account last week after reading on here about them accepting just about everyone but they gave me the knock back. After reading the problems people have been having with the account I think I am glad they did. Have made an appointment to open a Readycash account with Maestro debit card with Clydesdale on Wednesday.0

Have to say I agree with you regarding this, I am sick to the back teeth of the bloody card being rejected. Again today it was declined

That's so strange ... I've not encountered any problems with mine .. yet.
Maybe there is a fault with the card - I've seen cashiers in shops cleaning the magnetic strip at times when cards aren't processing properly. You could ask for a replacement card and see how you get on ...:happylove Tori Bellatrix :happylove

I most admit that I have not had any problem's at all, and I still like citi for this, and many other reasons,
and the fact that there online service is so easy to understand,
I do feel sorry for those people who are having problems, but you do seem to be to quick to jump out of the boat so to speak,
why can you not ring citi and ask to sort it out, instead of saying right thats it had enough I'm off,
it seems to me that some people are to soon to start saying I'm off just because your card wont work,
there must be a logical reason for this,
be it the shop
the bank
or you,
you should start to think
what could the reason's be,
9 times out of 10
its the shop
they did say everyone had to go chip and pin.
this is maybe something to do with that,
to make these shops go chip and pin
and nothing to do with citi or you,
had you thought about that,
just a point I wanted to make,
