  • Same here today, hubby was in a pickle at the petrol station as he only had his visa card on him. Luckily the lady let him walk over to the cash machine and take money out.

  • Just been advised to pop my money in my US dollar account for use in the US, not the most convienient as I have to ring up to transfer money across and transfer my account once I am in the US as I want to use the card in the airport in the UK.

    Not the easiest way to spend money abroad but there you go.

    I wonder if this is a Citibank error today then, I have since tried my card again and its still declined...... Its annoying me more than anything :confused:

    Sounds like some sort of blip then - is it possible the problems could be with the merchant. Maybe they are having processing problems .. :confused:

  • Just tried to use it on Additions Direct website, still a NO but my other Visa debit card went through fine.
