Forgot to mention, that min. £1250 has to be your salary. So for example if you earn 1000 and pay extra 250 in cash or some other way it wont count.0

There is nothing stopping you asking for it too be added to your account, They may conduct a credit check which depending on your record they may decline the overdraft. It would appear from what others are saying as long as you have £1250 or more going in to your account on a monthly basis you will get the OD in 3mths.
The £1250 must be your salary. If I have been helpful - Hit the Thanks button0 -
Has anyone had any problem paying for things online then? Just wondering as there are issues with chip and pin.0
-
Nope no problemo online and there is no problem with chip n pin either, its just that the card can not be swaped where there is no chip n pin machine for security reasons. These days 99% merchants use chip n pin terminals so thats not a big problem any way.s1h wrote:Has anyone had any problem paying for things online then? I atempted to open a Citibank account back in January. I applied online and forwarded my ID on to them which was quickly returned. However I am still waiting for the account to be opened. I live in London and notice that the Citibank branches are always in the wealthy areas so I assumed that they would delivering a top notch service to some very demanding customers.
I was disappointed to discover that my follow up call was answered somewhere outside of the UK. The call was like to taking to a robot reading from a script.
I've given up with this bank, if they can't open an account I have no confidence in them looking after my money. I just hope they don't destroy egg once they have taken them over.0 -

I got a letter dated 30/01/07 saying that they were dealing with my application and if i were successful they would write to me within 15 days. Now that's 19 days and i still haven't heard from them. Has anyone had similar experiences and what happened?0 -
i would of thought they would have the decency to write to you either way.0
