However on a diff. note, I did request some pre-paid envelopes last week online, to which they replied that they were sending me the paying-in book I requested (eh?!). Anyway, I expected to receive about 5 or so envelopes, but nope I got 60 (!) this morning in 3 separate Jiffy bags, with 3 diff. dated letters. Think I'm sorted for life now! In the past they've also sent me 3 paying-in books and 2 cheque books for some unknown reason.
Don't think they have a Scooby.
lol...I would say that is defo human error...on there part...or could be a glitch on there new website...made me laugh...:D

It's not the shop or the pay @ Pump or whereever's fault the card is declined, It's decided by Citibank. Not shopping at a particular shop is not going to have that much effect as Citibank is pretty much small fry in the country at the moment, and other Banks don't seem to have this problem.
It's not like theres any pattern to it! I could accept it if it was just non Chip & Pin shops, Buy why not Pay @ Pump at ASDA as you have to enter your PIN to get any fuel, and as you said, you had trouble at the Post Office.. Why?!? The PO is fully Chip & Pin now!
Just found this thread - i've been using pay @ pump at asda in kilmarnock with my citibank card for about 6 months - never had a problem0 -

Mine works fine at Tesco's Petrol Stations, But only if I go into the kiosk and pay, Pay @ Pump doesn't want to know

Hi there (this is only my second post - if you saw my first you'll know why I'm on the prowl here).
I really need to change my account after the disaster of the Woolwich/Barclays fiasco.
Need a debit card I can use online (for train/coach/flight bookings etc).
Not interested in an overdraft.
I have an embarrassing credit rating after defaulting on overdraft/cards as a angst-ridden, easily led student five years ago. (therefore would rather keep a low profile too!)
But I have a guaranteed income of £1,000 going in per month.
Is Citibank for me? If so, which account do I apply for (and the best way to do it)?
Many thanks in advance!0 -

Hi, after so many positive comments, I have decided to go for the Citibank account. Re the Quidco offer, I went to their website and did a search on Citibank but nothing came up, does that mean the offer has finished?0
