Late last year, it's laid relatively dormant for the past few months though, however the shiny Visa card proudly rears it not-so ugly head from my wallet nicely..0

Guys
might not be relevant to the thread title but still citibank, on the latest statement i noticed a charge for Relationship Fee £10, not sure why? Checked the previous months & same! Obviously will call them to find out what's that? but can anyone shed light to this?

Yes it's the £10 monthly fee for the Citibank Plus Account, You get some bits like Mobile Phone Insurance I think...
If you don't want any of these extras you can downgrade to the Access Account (excatly the same account just no extras or monthly fee) by going to https://www.citibank.co.uk/personals/app_switch/accountchg.htm

hello there....:D...yes worthingben I did get the PM sorted thank's...:Dglad to see everyone still loving citibank...as far as I am aware they send off credit reports on everyone...so all good one's for me at the present...never gone over my limit or missed a DD/SO yet touch wood...I am usually very good with my money...so if you stay in the black it's a good report BUT if you go into the red then it would be a bad report...don't know how many ayear or when...monthly ring's abell somewhere...so if you use citi and get good reports then that's why your credit status is going up...I think it's really good and rather clever of citi to do this...I now have a halifax current account...a mastercard with £5000 on it and my citi current account which I love dearly...thanks everyone on the citibank thread for all those words of wisdom kindness and just being there for others and thanks citibank for having us all...see you all later...cw:D

Now that we are upto 54 pages of posts, perhaps we should have a new thread started, With the first post stating where you can't use your Citibank card.

I have just come across your postings.
I have been with Citibank for almost 6 years now. I have only had one major problem with one particular DD for one of my mortgages. It was finally resolved due to an incorrect originator idetification number on DD mandate.
I have so far never been overdrawn , so cannot comment on that.
The telephone service is used very infrequently as I can never remember my TPIN. Online service is great and more convenient.
Their debit card never works in any petrol station at the 'pay at pump' facility but always works in kiosk.
Deposits through Lloyds used to take over 7days , but now its 4 days.
have recommended several friends, all happy so far.0 -
Good to know the Deposit time for cash has reduced to 4 days now

why would you want to start another citi thread is this one not enough for you...I love citibank and can honestly say that apart from the post office (which I vacate maybe once ayear) I have had no problems with my card...never been overdrawn...and all my DD's SO's have gone out ok...on the day and the right amount...so what is up with you...if I went into a shop that wasn't chip n pin then I would use cash...if this shop continued to not be chip n pin then I would stop using it then maybe the shop's that aren't chip n pin would seriously think about going chip n pin then you would not have a problem...it grate's on me abit that some people can blame citi for what ever but they never think to look at themselves for the blame...don't use shop's that are not chip n pin simple...make sure you have enough money left in your account for your DD's before you go shopping...simple really...:D
Pls be nice to all MSer's

Im not blaming Citibank for anything!!
All I was saying was that now this Thread is so long, perhaps people are having trouble finding information about whats bad and good about Citibank amongst all the postings...
I know I wouldn't want to go through 54 pages of posts! LOL

Ahaha, I made it to page 12, befre I gave up and posed in he 50s.
Yes, VERY good idea about a new thread for where the card from Cii does no work, as much as some would rather pretend its us and not them, Citi are far from perfect...0
