If he can't get on-line he won't be able to join the TTMF!

Hi Guys, my update. Sorry about it taking so long.
I inadvertantly just posted a quetion on here about my new router, which Gunjack very kindly picked up on and advised me , yet again.:j
I became live 10 days ago, no problems.except clarification of my package price.
They will not update my account, generic one says £27+ instead of £18.30.After several e-mails to the guy dealing with it, he kept saying, don,t worry, your discounts will be taken off later.
So I rang aol/tt, straight through, and paid my landline one off £114, and he said ( from India) very polite, I will only pay £5.10ppm, but still hasn,t updated my a/c online.
That,s due out of bank in next few days, ( fingers crossed) it,s correct.
As I mentioned, and I tend to agree with Gunjack, my wireless card could be at fault, it,s still dropping out, (as I type this, it,s just done so) :D Just got back on. that,s umpteen times today.
It looks as if I am going to have to consider permanent ethernet, as wireless is so erratic,0.2>6 mbs with my new Linsky router, using channels 1+5.
inSSIDer, is showing, neighbours, all on 1, tried moving, but, having 2 channels, I,m straying to illegal 13.and others show overlap more on otherschannels, 9 beingthe highest I can go to being dual????.
Just been reading about either using long ethernet cable, or the Homeplugs. I thought the new router, + llu would have solved it.
Gunjack says, (rightly), I,m too impatient.
At present, TT have come up trumps, :T, BUT,I need to sort this dropping, and slow speeds, wireless.:( When using ethernet, speed up to 7.9mbs, thats highest I,ve achieved, better than before.
All in all, that,s not down to TT, so no need for forum, no probs phoning them.
Sorry to have been a pain, and thanks again for all your advice, much appreciated.
Hope you all had a good xmas:beer::beer:
