I've just got the 25% off as a valued customer e-mail but this is the first time i've ever signed up and bought anything off them.
Makes you wonder really what they are trying to avoid.
Im gonna wait to see if i hear from Watchdog.
Lest we forget someone or many people have probably lost their jobs over this.Always looking for a bargain and to help0 -
I dont want their 25% i would rather be taken off their records and not recive !!!!!! in the post all the time0

They're having a laugh with the so called 25% discount aren't they?
Especially as John Lewis have the exact laptop at £499!!
I've got one coming from Dell with 1024mb ram for £439.
Like that laptop is worth £649, they've just nailed the last nail in the coffin as far as I am concerned, definately wouldn't touch that company with a barge pole now!!0 -
maybe i've mis read their email but it states laptop and choice of software package at 25% off.
So the laptop at £649 plus say Office at £149 minus 25% is a saving of about £160 so you'd techinically get office for free which i guess isn't that bad a deal. Not sure you could find that laptop with a genunie version of office for that money
(im still not buying one though...)
Edit - After reading above it appears you can!kicking squealing gucci little piggy.0 -

You are right but one thing makes me wonder.
Littlewood says its WideScreen (WXGA)
John Lewis says it not (XGA)
I dont think its different laptop, I think one of them is wrong.
Probabaly Littlewood, not buying it anyway......0 -

you'd need to check the toshiba part code, there will be many A100 (its a series number) then you have to check specifics on the modelkicking squealing gucci little piggy.0 -
It'll certainly be interesting to see how many people take them up on that "offer."
I've had the mail but think I'll pass!!0 -

Thing is Littlewoods dont have detailed description so no real comparison can be done.
The one for 499 is apparantly with double memory and missing ATI graphics card when compared with LW.0
