Any good?
P.S. Sorry for cross posting with above post.....
Even for £486 you could probably get a better spec laptop if you hunted. Its not bad.. but not a grabbit0 -

Sadly the answer may well be "yes" as I have piles of 1990's laptops left over from my previous business.

I reckon it wasn't a mistake at all, just a ploy to drum up new business.
Well in my case it back fired because I will not be buying anything from them, even with their so called 25% discount, there are better offers out there.0 -

You are probabaly right.
But with my search criteria
* Core Duo (pref Core 2 Duo)
* Wide Screen
* Vista Ready (or better shipped with)
* Good Graphics Card (not just Intel builtin)
* DVD Writer
* 1 GB Ram (this one has 512, but I can expand)
and extra of
* option of Vista Premium or Office
Thats what I need.
with these in mind I havent spoted any laptop under 600 yet.
P.S. Do remember its only bargain if you really need it.0
