I think it's something like "received by courier."

Strange. Looking at this other thread about Hermes (post 281), someone else quotes their status:

    Date Time Status
    14/01/2011 11:43 Courier to Re-attempt
    14/01/2011 05:27 Out For Delivery
    13/01/2011 20:42 Carried Forward
12/01/2011 05:53 Out For Delivery To Courier
    11/01/2011 22:00 Processed at Depot
    11/01/2011 21:44 Receipt at Depot
10/01/2011 19:46 Hub Sorter Receipt Scan
    10/01/2011 13:45 Order Generated

In this instance, 'Out for delivery' seems to indicate it's out for delivery to the customer?? So, I'm confused!

I don't think couriers take things out for delivery at half past five on the morning. ;)

It looks like that "out for delivery" might be an administrative status. It could be that the item has been reset to, "out for delivery," when it is remanifested to the courier for the next days run.

They delivered a parcel for me this week. I was in the kitchen and one of my dogs was asleep in the hall. He never rang the bell or knocked on the door. He just opened the front door and threw the parcel in! The poor dog got such a fright :(

Courier was away quickly so I never got to say anything to him.

OMG poor thing, I can just imagine it, I wish your dog had been quick enough to react

    To what end?

To jump up and look growly and defensive, but not attack of course. If someone opened my front door without warning and came in my dog would not have been happy, and I would have played merry hell

  • HERMES are terrible. I ordered stuff from NEXT at Christmas and I'm STILL waiting for the items to turn up. Had all sorts of problems with them (which I wont bore you with).

Lesson learnt is don't use any company that uses Herpes...urrr, sorry, meant Hermes ;)
