Is the '3' £17.50 18 month contract the best deal?

It works out at £9+ if you have one of the refurb phones on 750 mins 150 text @ 1/2 price £17.50 for 18 months = £315 - 100 quidco - 30 recommend a friend = £185 = £10.28 per month, there was someone on here offering £40 for recommend a friend = £9.72 per month
New phone on 500 mins @ £15 x 18 = £270 -70 quidco - 30 recommend a friend = £170 = £9.44 per month or with £40 recommend a friend £8.89 per month

I just signed up to 3 using the quidco referral and refer a friend but there's nothing showing in my quidco earnings page. Does that mean I've messed it up or does it ever take time to appear?

by the way, i can confirm the previous post about chatting to the live online help on the three website shop - i asked one question about moving my existing phone number and was offered a free bluetooth headset if i signed up by the end of the day. this site is great...

That's what it's showing on my enquiries! Atleast it changed from 'processed'. Just hope they deal with this asap and I get some money.

My £70 is being tracked btw for the 2nd contgract I got.

Still havn't signed up to the deal.. only thing putting me off is some of you not yet receiving ther cashback from quidco!

When you say moving your existing number. Is this only for numbers from other providers and not from Three?

I'm thinking up signing up to 3's offer of £17.50 for 18 months on their VT1000 deal and would like to get the maximum cashback, i.e., Quidco for £82.50 plus 3's recommend a friend for £30 !!!!
But I don't seem to have any friends on 3 at the moment
Anyone out there keen to offer their 3 number for me to put into as the 'recommended friend' offer ? I'm thinking of doing this this weekend - so let me know quick! Thanks !!!!!

Just taken a look at 3's site for any new offers (think they are coming on June 3rd?)

Found on the Direct Talker 1000 the N70r and LG U300 handsets have been added @ 18 months half price.

So now for 18 months @ £17.50 you can get:

Nokia N70r
LG U300
LG U880 Pink
LG U300 Orange

Don't forget £30 Recommend a Friend (pm if you don't know anyone)
+ Bluetooth headset
+ Quidco (@£82.50)

works out @ £11.25 per month

Not a bad monthly cost z4kir, pity the handsets aint a bit better.
As you say the current deals are on till 3rd so may see some more offers then.
I'm on the lookout for a k800i on £15 500min plan, I'm sure this was free a month or two ago, here's hoping it will be again as I've got my pac now
