Ah didn't see that. Yes, started doing the practice set (slowly). See you in the other thread!

I have done the transcription tasks before and never had any trouble with payment, even under £50. But i'm not aware of anywhere I can log in to see this work 'logged'.

I did this round quite quickly and hoped they'd get back to me with more, but not heard anything which is a bit disappointing.

Do you have a personal supervisor you can contact? We always had someone on hand..also for the Crowdsourcing work I was told (last year) that any payment under 50AUD (or 50GBP can't remember which) would be paid at the end of the tax year. I would've imagined transcription would have been the same. Sorry to hear you're having problems, it can be very frustrating can't it :(.

I've just looked through my emails and the original emails offering me the transcription work were sent by a personal supervisor called Harry. However i've emailed this person a couple of times and I just don't get a response. Do you know of any one else I can try? Online it does say to contact my personal supervisor but I have never been assigned one.

Scratch that - they've just e-mailed me with the chance to recruit more participants for the voice recording task. It's come a bit late though, not sure i'll manage to recruit many by their deadline. What a shame it wasn't a chance to do more recordings myself though.

Managed to pass the 100 utterance test for the transcription project. TBH wasn't at all sure that would be the case as low audio quality + accents and people saying rather random things made it harder than the last glass project.

What's this? Is it something you were contacted about directly?

Just sat the tests. Past English with 100%, but waiting to hear back about the search, English Competency and Technical Skills. Last part was easy peasy, as I've done IT for years :D. It said they got it at like 12 at night... so I assume the 15 minute wait is off till they wake up and go to work lol. Excited about this :j

I found it harder too, definitely...going to be up late tonight and tomorrow trying to meet the utterance target after being on a holiday for a couple of days :o

headcrash27 I am sure you have already done this, but if I was really stuck I contacted the company from the AppenOnline webpage..they were quite helpful.

Hmm interesting no sign of test results - must have failed miserably for the search engine part. Do they respond if you've not done well? I'm doing AppenOnline, but I know there are two different companies? Cheers.

I did it months ago and never heard back. Presumed I'd failed :(
