I also did the task emailed about today.
Made a few mistakes/errors - not too worried because I have done so all prior times, and have always been paid.
I think they'd only reject if it was clear you were taking the biscuit.0 -

At least next time I know to print the phrases out on to paper, rather than attempting to constantly switch back and forth between the pdf. Kind of awkward when you're in the middle of reading one out, only to then realise you've forgotten it.. :embarasse0 -
Try resizing your windows so you can have them side by side0

Does anyone know if the completed appen transcription work shows in my reports in UHRS? I'm reluctant to do the current transcriptions as I still haven't been paid for my last lot I did in March (due to it being under £50). I got told I would be paid when I earn over £50 but it isn't showing in my payment report so I have my doubts that I will ever get it.0

I believe the transcription work is completely separate from UHRS, so any work you do which is from the transcription dept won't show there.
Instead, you should have separate login details for the transcription work, and manage your account there (the same place you will have done the spelling tests)
I have always been paid - however, I was given about 3 tasks consecutively, and as such was over the £50 mark within a few days.0 -
Thanks, I have logged into that website but the transcription isn't showing so it doesn't look good. I've sent them an email but I don't hold out much hope as all they ever do is just send me a stock reply with the payment guidelines attached. They never seem to read my emails properly0

Anyone else begun training for iSS? I'm happy it's proceeding apace, though have to say the quality of the GL doesn't really bode well to me. Hopefully it'll click.0

Have you started on the practice set yet? Or did you only receive the guidelines today?
There's a dedicated iSS thread here now, BTW.0 -

Do you have a personal supervisor you can contact? We always had someone on hand..also for the Crowdsourcing work I was told (last year) that any payment under 50AUD (or 50GBP can't remember which) would be paid at the end of the tax year. I would've imagined transcription would have been the same. Sorry to hear you're having problems, it can be very frustrating can't it.
