A little work online today....but slow going :cool:

Renewed my contract today, slight pay increase - enough to just about cancel out that other recent cut. Not much point though however as i'm on SLR after being audited entirely against someone that has impossible stamina and concentration levels. There's only 2 left so he/she is the only one working this week... absolutely ridiculous scenario they've allowed develop in our market.

Pretty sure i'll be back in next week but certain i'll be pulled/fired before the month is over.

I miss LB and the other client!

Well, I finally got fed up of checking my specially-created email account 5 times a day in the hope that LF may have got back to me, and decided to make the application with iSS a week earlier than planned..

Two days later, have now signed the NDA, and am waiting to see what happens next.

Can anyone tell what do Appen want in Pre-Production Phase?
I'm really confuse, doing 20hours practice and fill all their standard and still failed. I hope I can get a little answer here.

Wish I could help but I started before they instituted that 20 hours thing. I would suggest looking at the site 'workplacelikehome', as they have a sub-forum for appen with a lot of users. You need to sign up to see the forums but it's worth it.

Good to hear they're progressing applications at a good pace. I'm trying to apply but getting an error 400, looks like I have to try again Anyway, good luck!

Can't believe there are still no new names on the roster. Maybe it has to do with this contract renegotiation which didn't seem to go too well for them.

Thanks Jam, it's really a useful site.
You know that even in my country roster it only 3 person in it, that because we are stuck with the pre-production. Me and my friend can't get passed that phase without knowing what is wrong with it.Appen simply doesn't tell us so it really confusing whether they need a new consultant or not.

I'm in month 3 and on SLR 3. Guess that means 2 more SLR and I'll get fired? I wish I knew how they calculated the metrics

Anyone gone for the crowdsourcing one too? ABH managed to screw up my application somehow when I tried it there so haven't ever done any crowd stuff, might as well give it a shot with these new guys..
