I wish LB and LF are open to my country, sadly they are not.
I can only count on ABH for this job. Well that's a shame if they won't give me a new start they'll lose one of the dedicate worker in there.

I got all the way to the qualification, but failed the tests.

Overall my score was over 80% for both exams, but because of one mistake (which was not my fault, it was due to how the page was delivered to my browser) it caused me to have an offby of about -0.3 for one threshold, and walla, failed... I'd go into more details about what particular pages caused that, but I guess that'd be a breach of NDA.

They ignored my appeal, and also I sent them an e-mail directly which received a fairly copy+paste response. I doubt I would have been able to continue even if I had of passed. I'm dealing with a death in the family at the moment and in a moment of pure clarity during the past few days, Appen just seemed so disgusting to me and I want nothing more to do with them.

Think it's the client itself rather than Appen that I can't stand. Thought by applying to LB I'd be getting away from them, only every role they've put me forward for has turned out to be for them as well. 99% sure that I failed the Ads Assessor exam yesterday, and even if I get given a second attempt, I have little confidence in my ability to pass it. The whole thing just feels like the WSE re-qualification exam all over again..

Have you tried applying for multimedia judge Mallrat? From my time on that position (I think it's the same one) it was a relatively easygoing role despite being for the same client, I could happily do 8 hours in a day on that when the data was available.

Thanks. Will definitely consider it if I fail the retake. Any idea which of the two Multimedia Judge jobs it is? Cos knowing my luck, I'd probably end up applying for the wrong one. Am assuming there's one for each of the two clients..

I have a hunch the second one might be same as the ABH client but wouldn't bet on it.. Nothing is given away by the ads, I'm just guessing based on the order of the other jobs. Either one would be worth a try though, the guidelines were really quite logical, shorter, and much easier to learn even though I was working for you know who . Qualification process was also relatively brief.

Well, I failed the Ads Assessor exam as expected. Was then just about to do the retake on Monday when they decided to inform me I needed to do another 3 hours worth of training modules beforehand, despite the fact that my deadline was the next day. Thought this was pretty unreasonable, and considering I didn't have much confidence that I'd be able to pass the exam anyway, I decided to withdraw from the process yet again. Then yesterday, I received a further email telling me the quota for the role had now been reached, so even if I had passed, it's looks like they probably wouldn't have had a job available for me to do. :huh:

Anyway, today I see they're no longer advertising the Ads Assessor job on their website, and funnily enough, the two Multimedia Judge roles have disappeared too!

Oh, and I've now received yet another email asking me to apply for a Crowd Worker position. Which is the one thing I'm not interested in.

Pretty annoyed that I've basically spent the last 6 weeks trying to qualify for LB jobs that are either too difficult to pass the exam for, or don't actually seem to exist. Had initially been planning to make an application to LF on May 1st, but instead thought I'd give LB another chance considering I had a pretty good experience with them first time around. Big mistake!

Do realise that none of this has anything to do with Appen, BTW.. But just thought I'd keep people updated.
