So would I, especially if Steve_xx has perfected the unobtrusive anti-gravity device which magically keeps his bag under 10 kilos and/or the automatically deploying helium balloon that pops up when anyone tries to weigh it :p

I haven't managed that one yet!

But, on a recent trip to Porto I had a interesting incident with Ryanair on the way back. I was wearing an army jacket, which has many deep pockets, and which I wear purposely for Ryanair flights. I had put a kilo of coffee beans in one of the pockets and it was spotted by one of the Ryanair police who asked me to put it in my suitcase. Doing so may well have tipped me over the 10kilo allowance which I was reluctant to do. So I refused to do it and I told the Ryanair police that there was no Ryanair ruling stating what one may have in ones pockets. And that was that!

I was persecuted. Is that the same thing?:rotfl:
  • Its not just the baggage size thats an issue....last time l checked in via Ryanair l was asked how l was, l innocently replied that l was a little upset after losing my pet stick insect 2 days prior....wham....charged another £45 for emotional baggage
