Thanks rockin Plumber... Your working out made a lot of sense and it was easy to relate to my own figures
Have gone for Npower with the £100 vouchers via Uswitch with should nett £22 quidco!
Is it possible to use Uswitch and Quidco at the same time?"fools and fanatics are always so certain of themselves, and wiser people so full of doubts." (Bertrand Russell)0 -
Uswitch are on Quidco at £22.
if you used Npower at the merchant I couldnt find any reference to the vouchers...
Hope I havenot lost out on £43!0 -
I had a confusing conversion with EDF this morning about transfering to a new supplier. The customer service agent said if the transfer took place before the end of the year the OS7 tariff would apply and I would be liable to pay a penalty, but if the transfer took place after the 31 December the standard tariff would apply from the 1st Jan. She was quite insistent about this and nothing I said would change her mind. After reading previous post's I am now confused should I try again and hope I get a different CSA.0

This is correct. However any switch that you commence now will not go through before mid-January anyway, so a penalty is not relevant. You will be on Standard tariff unless you switch or transfer to another EDF product after 1/1/12.No free lunch, and no free laptop0 -
I started the transfer last friday and I am on a 7 day cooling off period.0
