Ah well you never said that before, seems you are at the stage I was last Thursday and as said I received my cheque today. So looks like you nearly there, just a few more days. What I did was to send another e-mail asking for an update yesterday and they said they would chase it up and make sure the cheque went out that day, which it did.

Not happy I have been waiting for my first plus cheques since the 7th of September, 6-8 weeks they said!!! what a joke I have just resorted to emailing Bob Diamond, after phoning the liverpool call centre every day for the last 2 weeks, they do not have a clue what is going on, they seem to say anything to get you off the phone. It is a joke!!!!!

I was over my eight weeks I e-mailed bob last week and it worked I received my cheques on Saturday.

Phoned virtually every day since to be pushed from pillar to post and basically being told that there was nothing that can be done to speed things up...I have been told numerous times that the PPI team are going to email Cardiff - no comeback! I have asked to speak to a Manager and been told that "they won't be able to tell you anything different":mad:

I have tried telephoning their Head Office at Cardiff, only to be told that I cannnot speak to the complaints dept and only a Manager in the PPI dept can deal with this...I'm going around and around in circles, but not getting anywhere:mad::mad::mad:

Is there any kind person/s on here that can advise on a next step, because this is driving me and my wife insane and my stress levels are currently sky high.

just had call from someone at fp said our cheques been produced but could take another 7 days making it 22 days late. So e-mailed bob again today to say this lets see if we get a reply today !!!!

well nobody responded to my e-mail yesterday or so far today. As for cheques they have been produced but not at liverpool yet so how true it is i wonder . But fingers crossed not more pork pies from them !!!!

I received 2 cheques in the post today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So so so sorry for the people still waiting for theirs and having to wait after the 6-8 weeks. Mine have come 2 - 4 weeks EARLY!!! I am still in shock. I do still have another 4 to wait for and wondered if these will make an appearance soon as well. We took a loan out and then had 2 further advances hence the 3 cheques plus the 3 cheques for 8% interest. I must be one of the lucky ones to get this early however I am worried about the other cheques and really hope they dont get caught up in the post delay.
