Just had a phone call from first plus and they said they would be fast tracking my claim and it should be resolved in 7-10 days
Sorry, but that it something they just tell you, I was told that four weeks ago and only got my cheques today after harrassing Bobs office for the last week. Keep sending the e-mails until they reply, give them a sob story, once they are involved as me and Nutty found out you have you cheques within days.0 -

Hoping you are wrong because I have a contact number and a person to ring.0 -
Thats me done now Nutty, all claimed and won every case.
£14900 from First Plus
£5000 from Barclaycard
£8000 from Barclays
Will spend it wisely on the home with a few good times thrown in.
Well done you, we have won.
RBS £122
FIRSTPLUS £20,000
We still have the first part of our firstplus loan which was done through the broker Central trust which we have had to take to the ombussman and if we win that it should be around £10,000. I sent a cheque of yesterday to clear the balance on my marks credit card it was such a lovely feeling.0 -

I hope Im wrong too, just that they led me a merry dance, I had the 7-10 days story told to me three times. I also had contact and phone number to call too and when I called contact was not available or they made another excuse.
Fingers crossed and they don't mess you around as they did me.
Good Luck.0 -

Hi, I'm new here and just looking for advise as to what I can do regarding our current situation with FP PPI Claims. We had 3 PPI claims with FP totalling around £30000...we received an initial offer on 23/08/11, but his was only for 2 of the accounts...after many phone calls and dealing with a complaints manager, on the 12/09/11 we received a revised offer for all 3 accounts.
We sent our acceptance letters back (they received 19/09/11):).
On 17/10/11 we received 4 cheques, but for the amounts stated in first offer and only for the 2 accounts included in that offer.
Phoned and then wrote to Cardiff (they received 19/10/11) stating the fact that 1. The cheques were for the amounts stated in offer 1 and not offer 2 and that no cheques received at all for account 3.
Phoned again on 24/10/11...was eventually told that Cardiff was dealing with the re-calculation on the first 2 accounts and that the cheques for the 3rd account would follow in due course.
On 11/10/11 received 2 cheques for 3rd account, but no revised cheques for other 2.
Phoned virtually every day since to be pushed from pillar to post and basically being told that there was nothing that can be done to speed things up...I have been told numerous times that the PPI team are going to email Cardiff - no comeback! I have asked to speak to a Manager and been told that "they won't be able to tell you anything different"
I have tried telephoning their Head Office at Cardiff, only to be told that I cannnot speak to the complaints dept and only a Manager in the PPI dept can deal with this...I'm going around and around in circles, but not getting anywhere:mad::mad::mad:
Is there any kind person/s on here that can advise on a next step, because this is driving me and my wife insane and my stress levels are currently sky high.
Thanks for listening and sorry for the extremely long post :-)
