Could be something in it then Nutty as my surname also begins with B and we both received immediate responses, you have your cheques and mine been posted and due tomorrow.

Just seen spaniellover's response, R mmm maybe not then.

AHHH well it was a good thought, I just can't understand why Digitaltrance is getting no reply. I'm frustrated for them and it's not me.

I even received a letter from Firstplus today with a response to my second e-mail I sent on Friday morning.

  • Just a thought ..I did not include my account details in my e-mail to bob (as e-mails are not secure) put my full address and phone number etc in ....do you think that would make a difference ... still would not be inclined to send a e-mail with my account details in to anyone having had my bank account hacked twice before.....

This is so frustrating for you and especially now that they are not responding. Do hope it gets sorted soon for you
  • Hi All

Cheques received today :j:beer::j:beer: and 6 days before the eigth week :T:T:T:T
Digitaltrance ask them why some people are getting them before the time period and yourselves are not with no correspondence :)

Well done you. An early arrival, bet you were shocked! Do hope FP are getting on top of these payments now. So hoping my cheques arrive early LOL
  • So another day another dollar ….well just another day actually...
This will be my last post on here the stress levels in our house over this ppi has reached epic proportions and my wife and I are just turning the stress and frustration on each other which is not healthy …. We are not unique freaks, all across the land today family’s will be turned upside down because of the money issues . As we talked last night my wife said to me 'you’ve lost a whole year of your life over this PPI claim , you've not been able to focus or enjoy anything '

I could say she was exaggerating but sadly she is right. It has been with me every waking hour ….If you live a life like most of us do in England riddled with old debt (wrongly or rightly ) It is hard not to become transfixed with a possibility to get out of it. Although this PPI will not fix my debt problem it will get us things we have gone years without. It will pay off one small debt which will give us another £300 a month spending money which for us will mean a radical change in life style.

With just a few weeks of 2011 left I have a choice to make I can keep winding myself up about this talking about it,writing about it ...and venting about it or I can take a leaf out of Wayne Dyer's book and 'Just let go and let God' by that he means just going with the flow and stop try to control a situation which is quite frankly totally out of my control.

I have done everything I can possibly think off to try and get this cheque to me and everything has failed …... So I have sat waiting for the postman for the last time …...I surrender to what is ...The cheque will come sometime but nothing I do will get it to me any sooner.....What all my fussing will do is simply bring more negativity to my life.....

On a site which 'Fights Your corner' that may seem like I failed ...I have fought my corner I just can't fight any more.....

    More important PPI info

After talking to a knowable lady at the call centre yesterday it seem the whole way they process the cheques is a farce ..she says they just get boxes of letters with cheques in that they have to open up and then send on to the customers they usually get the boxes at the beginning of the week and send the cheques on by the end. That is why you are more likely to get your cheque Thursday, Friday, Saturday or Monday depending on how good your post is ….. She said knowing where your cheques is very hard....This is why they probably say when you call 7/10 days, they are simply hoping your cheque will be in the next batch of boxes.... As to whether this is true or not I don't know but it does seem crazy enough to be so.......

As to the alphabet processing idea... sounds possible.... my surname starts with a P so ill be waiting a long ….time..........

Anyway, I hope everyone gets what they are owed sometime ...thanks for all the posts and input......

As the dolphins said in Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy as they escaped the planet before it's destruction..

  • Just received my FP cheques this morning £14,912.47, just as good old Bob's office promised yesterday.

Just off to the bank and then a night out on the town tonight.
